Ah yes it's pre-xmas muscles time again.. when Round 1 rolls around they'll look like middle distance runners.
In fairness, he hasnt been able to train fully on his legs over the last 8 months, so would have done more upper body work. Robbie Gray went from weedy-whiting to macho-man during his ACL rehab

My original opinion was Georgiadis may have been unlikely to develop the upper body strength to be any more than a pinch hitter for the occasional quarter as a KPF at AFL level and would be more suited to the 3rd tall role, but given the upper body development shown in that pic he could definitely become the go to man working out of the goal square.

One of my favourite Mitch games was in 2021 when we played Melbourne at home late-ish in the season. We lost, but in the 3rd quarter it seemed there was a clear directive to isolate Mitch one on one. He was dangerous and looked like he was going to win it for us off his own boot in moments, I think he kicked a couple and took a hanger on Gawn too. Need him back in that forward line firing.

Mitch has always looked like the kind of athlete who would not struggle to put on muscle. He may not be the perfect height as a key forward but he looks like he would hold his own in contested marking situations against guys even a couple of inches taller than him, particularly with his athleticism. and fingers crossed, his aerial ability.

Hopefully with his kicking yips behind him he will prove to be a potent forward in years to come and someone who will be difficult to match up on. Can't wait to see how he goes.

There are some question marks over all of Marshall, Lord and Georgiades but their is just so much promise too.

Marshall - concussions main concern but hopefully he recaptures the form of 2022 early in the season and progresses from there.
Lord - still very raw but he has some talent and some of that old PA aggression to go with that.
Georgiades - probably the most talented of the 3, could be anything and hopefully the recovery to this knee is as good as it can be and it doesn't hold him back.

Lord is the perfect foil for Georgie because Ollie can take the #1 tall defender and he has the size, athleticism and forward craft to at least keep them occupied. He made Steven May accountable early on in the game we won at Adelaide Oval with a couple of early leads and marks.
