Perhaps it is Georgiades and Marshall who cannot fit into the same forward line? One week Marshall shines the next week it is Georgiades' turn.
Georgiades kicked a couple last week.
I’m not convinced about his form yet, but he stood out as our best and only forward last night and it is frustrating that Marshall couldn’t back up and play well against a decent opposition.

We have to bench Dixon for good after last night, and focus on putting all the onus on the development of Lord and Georgiades, with Scully hopefully improving quickly to AFL level. Marshall is what he is. He’s not going to suddenly become the player we hoped he would be. It seemed like this would happen after 2022, but it hasn’t and won’t. At best he is a second tall forward. Hopefully, he can soon become our third best forward and then our back up. He lets us down, along with plenty of his teammates, time after time.

Georgiades needs to make sure we’re not saying the same things about him in three years.

16 goals from his 9 games so far this season - on track for a career high this season (previously 32 goals).

Considering he's coming back from an ACL he's done everything one could have reasonably asked of him this season to date.

One day Georgiades and Marshall will both have their kicking boots on and it will be a thing of beauty.
Marshall needs to increase his opportunities, become a bit more selfish. More shots on goal and less assists.
Oh, and stop pogoing on the spot with his hands pressed against his chest when taking a mark.

Georgiades was looking big assed and extremely solid last night. I can picture him being immovable in a couple of seasons. The high flying antics have also settled - a lot of his goals this season have come from overhead marks with both feet very firmly planted on the ground - he reads the ball in flight as well as anybody

Wish he would have taken the shot at the end when he broke free running into goal. Tried to pass it off, we turned it over and the moment was lost.

A 5 goal haul would have been a good night out.

John will get in his ear and let him know, surely. The only thing I can put his goal kicking routine down is the extended time away from the club he was granted during the recoup and preseason.

Kicking 4.1 was awesome and a couple of those goals where the type of set shots that Dixon dreams of kicking but what I loved most about his game where the two runs he did against his opponent which was really exciting. He dropped on his butt for the first one but he really was taking the game on. The second one he burned his guy but didn't kick for goal on the run but went inside. I assume it is a team rule or something because you gotta back yourself in with that. He could've brought the house down and got us back in the game.

Really promising signs for Georgy.

Although it was been alternate weeks, it is great to see Mitch and Todd nail hard set shots for goal.

Great showing, was able to find space with his leads and his set shot kicking was a breath of fresh air. Still have no idea what he's going to do when he tucks the ball under the arm and takes off, doesn't seem like he does either. He's got an impressive burst, especially after the knee still.

Another 3 goals today. 22 goals from 11 games this season at AFL level is a brilliant return for a young player coming off an ACL injury.

His potential imo is Coleman Medal contender. A shining light in what has been otherwise a very disappointing season.
