To put this as nicely as possible. You are a ****ing clown. Burgoyne is leaving, we're pushing Brown out the door. Completely ****ing different. He's bolted from your rabble of a club, and was happy to go elsewhere. Brown doesn't want to go elsewhere, but we're forcing him to, so please, don't compare the two, because they are nothing.. NOTHING! alike.
We feel like we're getting reamed? If we trade 9+Brown for Burgoyne alone, we ARE getting reamed. No amount of spin you put on it changes this. It's a royal reaming and Clarko must be lubing up as we speak.

I'm pissed off. I know no one player is bigger then the club, but **** me dead, the passion Brown displays while playing for Hawthorn is second to none. In last years Grand Final do people remember Brown setting up two goals plus kicking one on his own.
Having another one taken off him by McLaren the scum cheat calling the kick back.
Backing into packs at the awe of us all in the last quarter.

Firstly I can see that most hawks supporters would be hating this, it would be similar to Port putting Michael Wilson on the trade table when he was playing, so you have my sympathy.
Pride is hard to let go and Brown would have bucket loads of it, if the Hawthorn dont want him, I can see him giving the club the F.U and going where he is wanted.

I ****ing hate Burgoyne and if we lose Brown I'll stop watching them play. This is the stupidest trade suggestion I have ever heard.
Why would you offer the toughest player at the club for an injury prone running marshmallow.
I would rather lose Birchall every day of the week than Brown.
I HATE trade week, the hawks should just pack there shit and go on holiday for the rest of the week, Gibson will do.

I will clarify.
From Hawthorn's point of view looking to the future, McGlynn and Dowler both are younger and have far more upside than Brown. If you put all three up for trade right now, McGlynn and Dowler would attract better offers than Brown. In the long run, losing Brown will not hurt us as much as losing one of the other two.

The first sentence is laughable. CB is tough, no doubt at all but make no mistake and be very clear on this; Luke Hodge is the toughest player at Hawthorn.

No surprise that Port accepted the deal right away, it's one of the biggest trade rip-offs of all time. Unfortunately Clarkson and Pelchen's man-love for Burgoyne from their Port days has massively clouded their judgement here. Practically everyone agrees that he's only worth Pick 9 and fringe player. Port are being complete twats and we've bent over and said "insert here" for them and let them have their way.
