Only negatives were Goldsack and Sinclair.

Goldsack may find himself spending an entire year in the VFL, young guys looked to of pasted him.

I don't think Sinclair will ever get a good run at it unfortunately, constant Hammies or concussion issues just when he starts to look good. Seems he is highly susceptible to both.

Some I interesting selection issues tonight, My big ones are when we are talking top 22 ... In no particular order ... Crisp, DeGoey, Hosking-Elliot, Smith Blair They all held their own...go work out your top 22.

I thought Ramsay was actually very good. Would like to see Berg get a full game, a lot of our guys took half the game to actually start playing decently, he needs the same opportunity.

Phillips was very sharp. I really liked it in the latter part of 2016 with Phillips, Wills and Crocker in the team - so much energy and good speed while they were in.

Smith continues to be very sound. Blair, once again, is super clean. Not high possession, like other small-medium forwards but he is always fast and clean. Underated. Dunn very good as well.

Aish needs to provide a bit more than that. De Goey finished well after a lacklustre start. Crisp belongs at the centre bounce, wins so many clearances, Greenwood's a trier but he's not a mid and not damaging forward tonight.
