Yeah I do but I’d put Lycett on the top of the heap of second rucks. Lycett had very handy support from Vardy.
Grundy still had 49 hit outs let’s not forget. I can’t get excited about a negating ruck. Sorry.

Fair point , I heard Shaun Rhen on the radio reckon he was very impressed by Lycetts game in the granny , he reckoned Lycett matched Grundy in physicality which isn't an easy thing to do and was very influential in a West Coast winning .
Also as we know must rucks don't hit their peak until mid/late twenties so by that reckoning Lycett should be coming to his peak years .
I must admit I'm not THAT convinced about him myself but do think it's a handy trade by us if we pull it off .

Getting a ready made ruck was a necessity. REH could talk you through how list management errors led us down the Lycett path. I like the fact he’s a former Magpie coming home. He will be an honest contributor for us. If Ryder can stay fit I’d like to see how he goes up forward - I actually think he’d be better than Dixon.

Sure about that? I thought we did all our trading last year to get into this draft. We haven't been linked to any players so I can only really see Polec going and maybe Amon for a late pick upgrade.
