But as this is for a D5 i could go Sutcliffe and upgrade M4 from Shuey to any midfielder cheaper then Pendles baring in mind already have Ablett, Libba and Beams, if I go Sutty which mid to upgrade to?

I would go option 1 only because I don't think Macrae is worth the price tag. Not going to be a keeper in the mids and a rookie would more cash at more than likely a greater rate.

D. Swan v S. Johnson for M2

I'm not sure if its as close as you guys think. But both will be top 8 mids by the end imo. The role SJ plays this year will be playmaker / go to guy. Gaz 2009 style. I think he'll get a lot of handball receives and will score big. With that being said I don't have him atm. Upgrade target for me.
