That's nice, I'm obviously referring to players who have signed on since Essendon were dumped from the fianls and Hird been found guilty of using his players as chemical guinea pigs.

He might be playing with a niggle too - plenty of players playing hurt in the second half of the year. He's topped club goal kicking 3 years in a row - only quality players manage that.
Those players all signed up when there were far bigger question marks over the club and players. The Fact is the club, players and coach have remained extremely tight throughout this debacle, much to the frustration of many journalists and opposition supporters.
Sure a player or two may look for better opportunities elsewhere just like any other clubs with strong lists. If you are silly enough to believe that is some sort of drug related exodus, then that's your issue.
