Hey Bangers.

Do you reckon Sydney is likely to take Anderson as a late academy pick this year?

I’ve been really impressed in his champs games so far and think he could be a real value selection late. Particularly for a club like Collingwood, who need a few clean inside midfielders.
Yeah he's certainly worth it late in the draft imo, just not sured they have a massive need for inside mids that they can't address earlier on though, they'll likely have the likes of Szybkowski in their pick range, or could find a way to move up into the McKenzie/ Hewett area with their two firsts. That, with Sheldrick and co. as youngsters already at the club make it difficult to see them doing it if there was a bid, but as their last pick/ rookie he's absolutely worth it

Hewett given his midfield balance. You'll get Davey x2 this draft on top of Menzie in the MSD so don't think you need to forward half presence of Sheezel, and Tsatas doesn't offer the contested style I feel you need to add
The thing is we also need someone who has some outside spread and speed. A lot of our contested issues have not been 100% midfield issues but more the fact we have been playing a lot of young players or the likes of Ham who are 100% non contested. Right now Shiel is leading the league centre clearances despite having an average start to the year. Parish is 12th. We really need a big body blocking type midfielder plus someone with an inside / outside game who does damage at stoppages. Having Hobbs also allows us to look at a more balanced midfielder medium / taller midfielder who can give us some outside run as well. Tsatsas would give us that. Would also not shock if we looked at a KPF early.

There is a good chance you will picking at 7 - maybe even 8.

Hi PMBangers how you going?
Quick question, what are your thoughts on Will McCabe and where do you see him going in next years draft
Cheers
Haven't watched any of the 16s champs so not the person to ask

PMBangers when Is the next podcast being released?
Cal Twomey if you are on this thread 🧐 what is happening with Road To The Draft?

Would be nice to get some game by game podcast on the National Champs.
SENs Future Stars is good but not as thorough as Final Siren & Road To The Draft.

Been disappointed with the draft podcast coverage last couple years. Used to love listening to Road To The Draft every Wednesday night.

Real opportunity for a draft guru to come dominate the podcast space right now cos everyone else is dropping the ball...

I don’t know much about him. Would you compare him to gibcus from
Last year
Gibcus far more athletic and stronger one-on-one, Busslinger a better user of the ball and gets more involved further up the ground

I'll put some pressure on the top dogs for you and try to get one out soon, otherwise I can release audio of me rambling on about the draft for an hour or so

I agree with Yeeted Suns. Anything will do write now as there is nothing other than Sen future stars, which is also on/off

Just as long as you dedicate half of that run time to a deep dive on why Cadman is the number 1 key forward prospect in this class.

While you're at it, who's the 2022 version of Neil Erasmus? (BFONE.)

What’s the difference between cadman/Jefferson bangers? Have they gone past the sa boys as the likely first key forward to be selected?
Cadman is stronger at ground level than Jefferson and just has the highest work rate I've seen from a young tall, as well as a genuine thirst for the contest. Jefferson is the stronger mark of the two and probably has a more natural leading pattern game to him, and is more capable of taking pack marks. I think those two with Keeler will be the first 3 tall forwards taken, Lemmey may raise back into the conversation with a return to form though
