Pitch wasn't a "road" as such - it was quite slow, and it'll likely crumble over the next couple of days.

No doubt, they’re all good bowlers, Steketee in particular. I just don’t think you’d describe any of them as next cab off the tank types - they’d be in my opinion Boland, Richardson, Morris, Neser. This seems like a reward for some performing shield bowlers. Some harsh comments on the bowling line up. Steketee has performed well in the shield for a while now, McAndrew has been excellent for SA and Buckingham is just replacing Neser, and he was on the last A tour and performed well.
Yeah, head scratcher that one. Can only feel they want to limit his workload and he’s in the team to have a bat? Either that or he’s carrying an injury, but surely you wouldn’t risk him.So why didn't green bowl?
oh i get it Green and boland have to be rested as they are going to running the drinks next weekYeah, head scratcher that one. Can only feel they want to limit his workload and he’s in the team to have a bat? Either that or he’s carrying an injury, but surely you wouldn’t risk him.
Simon O’Donnell asked the same thing this morning while discussing ScoBo being forcibly rested for the BBL opener.
It’s a tough gig warming the pineoh i get it Green and boland have to be rested as they are going to running the drinks next week
Yep. Big step up from shield to Tests and doubts that pair will make the grade. Agree all on your list are ahead of them by some distance. Buckingham was the pick of the attack yesterday and is closer to a future Baggy Green. No doubt, they’re all good bowlers, Steketee in particular. Will be golden until those greedy, mega rich streamers make us pay for the privilege of watching our national sport. Is already starting with Amazon denying us free viewing of all ICC events for the next four years. Includes one red ball match, the World Test Championship final.I would've killed to watch these tour games live on TV as a kid, so what a golden age for cricket-viewing we live in.
The latest head scratcher from CA is they want Marsh to open in the Windies series, after Marnus turned down the offer as he wants to remain at #3. Marsh is evidently seen as a like for like to Warner, which tells me CA is planning on producing roads for this series as neither Warner or Marsh enjoy a moving ball.

You can tell he's much more at ease as both a cricketer and person – helped greatly by his huge contributions in the short game – so reckon he'd take this through if he got another crack in the test side facing the new ball. You'd expect him to be horribly inconsistent though, so he'd fit in perfectly. They are talking about it on commentary at the moment. I don't actually hate the idea as it means Green is in the side. Least we aren't having Harris version whatever. I'd rather just go Hunt or Ward personally, Renshaw maybe.
When I've signed up for the Test etc, it's def handy for free shippingDon't you use Amazon to buy things like books, etc? It's the best one out there for streaming it's not close.
True, but we're paying to watch this now and most of the WC, so nothing newWill be golden until those mega rich greedy streamers make us pay for the privilege of watching our national sport.
