USA Policy positions of Donald Trump; let's see how many he achieves

USA is warmly embracing stupidity. Gutting any research involving non US know how.

Cant for the life of me see how tech billionaires are onside with this.

They have their money, control, power.

Why do they need to develop anything new? Why would they want anyone else to develop anything new?

Trump is 'breaking' the system to the extent that it drastically empowers those at the top at the expense of everyone else.

This is a modern day version of kings and serfs, where the tech billionaires at the kings, and we're all the serfs.

a) So preventing companies from polluting the environment to the extent it causes statistically significantly higher rates of serious illness is a "liberal ideological priority"?

b) And by labeling this decision as driven by DEI initiatives they seem to have said the quiet part out loud. Would they have made the same decision to drop the case if the area affected had been majority-white? Or is it that Black lives really don't matter at all?

This is the same country where juries have been known to hand out $50m in damages to people who have been scalded y a cup of tea spilling in their laps.

It’s hard to imagine that any employer, a quarter of the way through this century, would entertain segregated facilities for its employees, but this article implies that a contractor could possibly get away with it even while it remains illegal.

Twilight zone stuff.

US President Donald Trump is being urged to target Australia over its federal laws on social media and the digital economy in a powerful campaign by American tech giants including Elon Musk to block measures that hurt their profits.

The big tech companies have blamed Australia for threatening them with new federal laws and “coercing” them into sacrificing their revenue in schemes such as the News Media Bargaining Incentive, which aims to charge social media platforms to help fund Australian news content.

Big Tech shows no respect for content created by others. They think they should be entitled to it for nothing, whether that’s to sell advertising by facilitating people reading it, or thinking they can train their rapacious AI algorithms for free.

Which were stolen by Donny. They’re actually the Davies family arms. He was the husband of Marjorie Post who previously owned MAL and were left there when the property was sold. He changed the Integritas (Integrity) to plain old Trump. He’s a common thief.

But let’s ban deepseek within days of it becoming well known.

USA is now a very unreliable partner. We’ve sleepwalked into them holding all our data in some form

There’s a lot more than big social media sites involved

President Trump’s assertion that a gang is committing crimes in the United States at the direction of Venezuela’s government was critical to his invocation of a wartime law last week to summarily deport people whom officials suspected of belonging to that group.

But American intelligence agencies circulated findings last month that stand starkly at odds with Mr. Trump’s claims, according to officials familiar with the matter. The document, dated Feb. 26, summarized the shared judgment of the nation’s spy agencies that the gang is not controlled by the Venezuelan government.

And this

The Pentagon is scheduled on Friday to brief Elon Musk on the U.S. military’s plan for any war that might break out with China, two U.S. officials said on Thursday.

Another official said the briefing will be China focused, without providing additional details. A fourth official confirmed Mr. Musk was to be at the Pentagon on Friday, but offered no details.

Providing Mr. Musk access to some of the nation’s most closely guarded military secrets would be a dramatic expansion of his already extensive role as an adviser to President Trump and leader of his effort to slash spending and purge the government of people and policies they oppose.

Wtf

I did not know to laugh or cry regarding trump's event with young children being used as props,
And the little desk DONold sat on to sign the paperwork.
And to top it of President Donald Trump told Fox News host Laura Ingraham he was blown away by son Barron Trump’s technical prowess as exemplified by his uncanny ability to power up a laptop computer.
