USA Policy positions of Donald Trump; let's see how many he achieves

Yes, good old Bernie who has profited wonderfully from capitalism. Also, he was concerned about oligarchs but somehow forgot about Soros etc getting medals from Biden and the 70+ billionaires who donated to the Harris campaign.
And he said he believed the issue is a regional and statewide. A screen shot of a conversation doesn't paint the whole picture. Bernie asked him whether he would work with some of the Democrats on raising it and he said no to working with them (the Dems). What there is though was a campaign promise on no taxes for tips. I wonder if that in part helps answer the question.
Trump said months ago about no tax on tips as a sweetener to vote for him. That’s nothing new. All members of Congress have benefited greatly from their time, but Sanders would be very low on the list in a net benefit analysis of members and their wealth status for the amount of time in Congress.

He’s been in politics for 3 decades and his net worth is only 2 million? That’s absolutely nothing really
Plus most of that money was made off the back of the books he wrote.

He certainly hasn’t enriched himself from being in politics.

This is analogous to saying that Francis of Assisi guy isn’t perfect either so I’m quite comfortable with having given my vote to Satan.

The real winner on no tax for tips is big business. They'll use it to dodge tax.

It was never about the people

In Sydney they just call that a home owner.

After scotus voting 9-0 in favour of the tic tok ban
Representative Thomas Massie, Republican of Kentucky, said in a post on X on Friday that when TikTok “goes dark, please remember I voted against the so-called” ban.

Yass has made donations to conservative politicians who stand against the TikTok ban—including $24 million to Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and $32,200 to Rep. Thomas Massie (R., Ky.), who also received $192,000 from the Club for Growth, according to the Wall Street Journal—and has reportedlythreatened to stop donating to members of Congress who support the ban.

Also
Jeff Yass, the billionaire Wall Street financier and Republican megadonor who is a major investor in the parent company of TikTok, was also the biggest institutional shareholder of the shell company that recently merged with former President Donald J. Trump’s social media company.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President-elect Donald J. Trump’s choice to lead the nation’s health agencies, formally asked the Food and Drug Administration to revoke the authorization of all Covid vaccines during a deadly phase of the pandemic when thousands of Americans were still dying every week.

Mr. Kennedy filed a petition with the F.D.A. in May 2021 demanding that officials rescind authorization for the shots and refrain from approving any Covid vaccine in the future.

Just six months earlier, Mr. Trump had declared the Covid vaccines a miracle. At the time Mr. Kennedy filed the petition, half of American adults were receiving their shots. Schools were reopening and churches were filling.

Inauguration moving indoors because of the cold . Will Trump claim its the biggest indoor crowd ever?

"It was a beautiful inauguration, biggest ever held in doors some say! I dont know about that but it was big, huge...thousands froze to death outside waiting for a spot, true American heroes! We wont forget them no we wont, great people, wonderful people...crying up to me they said thank you Trump, tears in their eyes, the tears fall down from heaven did you know that? Not many do."

President-elect Donald J. Trump has picked Brandon Williams, a former Navy officer and one-term congressman, to become the keeper of the nation’s arsenal of thousands of nuclear bombs and warheads.

Mr. Trump’s selection is a shift from a tradition in which the people who served as administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration typically had deep technical roots or experience in the nation’s atomic complex. What’s unknown publicly is the extent of Mr. Williams’ experience in the knotty intricacies of how the weapons work and how they are kept reliable for decades without ever being ignited.

Terry C. Wallace Jr., a former director of the Los Alamos weapons laboratory in New Mexico, expressed surprise at Mr. Trump’s pick.

Dr. Wallace said he had “never met him or had a meeting” with Mr. Williams and characterized him as having “very limited experience” with the N.N.S.A.’s missions, based on his own decades of work in and around the nation’s atomic complex.

Imagine if Albanese did something like this. What a weird country the US is. And a scam? Surely the incoming felon POTUS wouldn’t try to scam his sheep?

"The launch was immediately met with excitement, confusion, and plenty of skepticism. That's because the project had all the familiar hallmarks of many celebrity meme coin scams that have launched over the last year..."
