Trump said months ago about no tax on tips as a sweetener to vote for him. That’s nothing new. All members of Congress have benefited greatly from their time, but Sanders would be very low on the list in a net benefit analysis of members and their wealth status for the amount of time in Congress.Yes, good old Bernie who has profited wonderfully from capitalism. Also, he was concerned about oligarchs but somehow forgot about Soros etc getting medals from Biden and the 70+ billionaires who donated to the Harris campaign.
And he said he believed the issue is a regional and statewide. A screen shot of a conversation doesn't paint the whole picture. Bernie asked him whether he would work with some of the Democrats on raising it and he said no to working with them (the Dems). What there is though was a campaign promise on no taxes for tips. I wonder if that in part helps answer the question.
Plus most of that money was made off the back of the books he wrote. He’s been in politics for 3 decades and his net worth is only 2 million? That’s absolutely nothing really
I was exactly the same.Yes, thank god for compulsory voting. When I was a youngster I thought it was wrong, however with time I have changed my mind completely.
and thank goodness for the Westminster System.I was exactly the same.
This is analogous to saying that Francis of Assisi guy isn’t perfect either so I’m quite comfortable with having given my vote to Satan.Yes, good old Bernie who has profited wonderfully from capitalism. Also, he was concerned about oligarchs but somehow forgot about Soros etc getting medals from Biden and the 70+ billionaires who donated to the Harris campaign.

The real winner on no tax for tips is big business. They'll use it to dodge tax.Trump said months ago about no tax on tips as a sweetener to vote for him. That’s nothing new. Yep, this proposal was shot full of holes pretty soon after it was floated. The real winner on no tax for tips is big business. They'll use it to dodge tax.
It was never about the people
He’s been in politics for 3 decades and his net worth is only 2 million? That’s absolutely nothing really
Inauguration moving indoors because of the cold . Will Trump claim its the biggest indoor crowd ever?

President-elect Donald J. Trump has picked Brandon Williams, a former Navy officer and one-term congressman, to become the keeper of the nation’s arsenal of thousands of nuclear bombs and warheads.
Mr. Trump’s selection is a shift from a tradition in which the people who served as administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration typically had deep technical roots or experience in the nation’s atomic complex. What’s unknown publicly is the extent of Mr. Williams’ experience in the knotty intricacies of how the weapons work and how they are kept reliable for decades without ever being ignited.
Terry C. Wallace Jr., a former director of the Los Alamos weapons laboratory in New Mexico, expressed surprise at Mr. Trump’s pick.
Dr. Wallace said he had “never met him or had a meeting” with Mr. Williams and characterized him as having “very limited experience” with the N.N.S.A.’s missions, based on his own decades of work in and around the nation’s atomic complex.
If I see Trump getting a pat on the back for doing **** all, I’ll spew up.
