Thus lies the problem, the campaigner thinks it’s 50 years ago where you had a liveable wage doing a menial job single income able to afford a house and raise a family… (funnily enough it was also immigrants who did those jobs back than except it was the Irish, Maltise, Italian, Greek and a generation later it became the Asian immigrant funnily enough the media also attacked those minority groups at the time as well)

But now not even two income minimum wage is enough for family’s to survive so no one can afford to do the menial jobs hence those jobs are picked up by undocumented immigrants

It’s extremely complex, I hate the idea of immigrants being exploited but I also have empathy for the farmers who hardly make a profit anyway

But when I’m at the grocery store of course I still buy the cheapest milk and bread because everyone needs to be pinching penny's these days that just feeds back into the problem

The answer is to increase the minimum wage, not reduce the tax burden for billionaires. Trickle down Economics promised to fix things but actually all it did was further enrich and embolden the powerful.

Donald Trump has threatened to cut off federal funding for states that operate so-called “sanctuary cities” for undocumented migrants.

“I might have to do that. Sometimes that’s the only thing you can do,” Trump told Sean Hannity in his Fox News interview.“California’s a great example of it. If you actually polled the people they don’t want sanctuary cities but [Governor] Gavin Newsom does and these radical left politicians do.”

California is a provocative example for Trump to raise given the state will expect to receive billions in disaster relief following the disastrous Los Angeles bushfires. There are many cities across the US, generally run by Democrats, that describe themselves as sanctuary cities for migrants based on their limited co-operation with federal immigration authorities.
