This is Hawthorns 3rd game in 10 days, and the Crows are coming off a 8 day break. I wouldn’t look too much into it.

Our form is concerning, but this result
is obviously more Hawthorn being exhausted than anything.

All evidence in this season of unequal breaks suggest it doesn't make any difference at all.

Hawthorn is playing its third game since August 22 (against us).

The Crows last played on August 23.

It says absolultely nothing about our performance against them.

Possibly neither is miserable. Both essentially see footy as a (very lucrative) pay cheque and have probably distanced themselves from the issues around winning and losing.
