I wonder what first round pick the Bulldogs need to throw in to satisfy the AFL?

Smith and the Bulldogs 1st for Geelongs 3rd is the going rate isnt it?

If any club knows how to manage a kid on the bags, it's Geelong.

That should get it done ;). Bulldogs should be asked to pay part of his salary.

Get absolutely ****ed Geelong. Surely every other club needs to work to veto Geelong getting access to talent for cheap.

I’m still baffled at the Bowes and Pick 7 for magic beans trade.

How many people at the various clubs and AFL House itself are on really good money, yet missed the most important facet of salary dumping and compensation for taking it on?

Corruption in plain sight that was.

Agreed. Blows my mind that it was allowed when there's no transparency around player payments at all.

Langer will be laughing his head off if we lose this series

You mean the same Justin Langer who couldn't conspire to force an Australian victory in 2019 when bespectacled number 11 Jack Leach strode to the crease with 76 runs still to get for an unlikely England victory?

He retained the Ashes, job done.
The test you are referring to Nathan Lyon missed the easiest run out of all time and Stokes was out plum lbw but Tim Paine wasted all his referrals

He retained the ashes with a drawn series. His stubborn refusal to play Mitch Starc cost Australia a series win. That is all on him and everyone could see the yawning gap in Australia's attack at the time. Starc plays, Leach lasts a few overs at best.
