What has happened to Jake Lever? Has been shite for a couple of years now and always seems to have massive brain fades in big moments.

The moustache wax fumes may have gotten to him!

The 4th swing seems premature now. The D’s midfield hasn’t come back for the 2nd half.
Its 3 goals to 10 since qtr time.

From the point it was 5 to 1, it has gone 4 goals to 12

Its all one way. This game is over.

Brisbane far too good.

The tide turned in the 7th minute of Q2. It has been all Fitzroy since:

2.0:12 - 10.4:64

Goal, Dees. Let’s see if the game changes.

Melbourne are pretty crap though. Collingwood v Brisbane in round 23 will be a better indicator.
Na, this is the 4th placed team, at home, who beat Collingwood a few weeks back, at a ground they've struggled with in recent times. It deserves credit.

I hate when people pull out the weird, twisted justifications to diminish wins and form.

Beating Carlton is now crucial for our top 2 chances. I do not want to face Brissy in Brisbane in a QF. We will get pumped and probably end up in a prelim at the MCG against Collingwood. It would be an insane waste of a year.

Carlton won 13 in a row in 2000 and also lost to the top placed team in a prelim.

Na, it turned in the first quarter. Melbourne got a good start and from there Brisbane started dominating play. Kicked a few early points, but once they got rolling they've only gotten better and better.

Melbourne just beat Saint Kilda, lost to GWS and Geelong. Yes Brisbane look good tonight, but Collingwood will be a better measuring stick.
