Just a quick question. Carlton named their top 5 players every. Notwithstanding the fact that we've been in the AFL for a lesser time, what do you think is our top 5. Not in any particular order I thought of 3 obvious ones. Wanganeen, Tredrea, and Grey. With 4 and 5 being James and Wilson

I do find in comical that the afl now have this exponentially increasing penalty system, purely to help them justify the inadequate clarkson punishment.

Totally, but I'm not going to lie. These phrases and words we're taking such a hard line on are phrases that have been ingrained as acceptable in our culture for such a long time. Until the last couple years I wouldn't have thought twice about calling my mate a f****t or a c**k sucker. These phrases whilst demeaning and effectively using homosexuals as a joke, aren't just going to go away immediately. So I'm ok with the punishments, and setting these hard new standards to trigger the change required, but I'm equally not happy with the over critical raking over the coals of these individuals that have had a slip of the tongue. We crucify them rather than acknowledge the changing landscape. Make a stand and acknowledge that there's a way to go as an entire society and lets not just hang these kids out to dry. That's the way to approach it.
