I'm not on the hater bandwagon like many. I actually think that logo looks alright, I also dont mind the main colours in the guernseys...... However......

Surely they could've been more imaginative that just whacking the logo in the middle of a red guernsey????
I mean the logo has horizontal stripes through it, maybe yellow horizontal stripes through a red jumper might've worked? probably not, I don't know. The one thing that is for certain is that the Red jumper desperately lacks yellow. Even if it is just trim around the arms and neck. Meanwhile the Yellow jumper is the exact opposite, it looks ok, but it needs some red, surely just some red seams or trim around the arms and neck again.

Whilst the basics aren't terrible, it's the finish that just hasn't been nailed and IMO make it look cheap and lazy, training kit like.

It's actually inspired how bad it is. Like, usually you could describe something band and bland as uninspired, but no, not that. That level of bland requires inspiration. I am certain many people in the world can phone in a better job.

Why the hell would they make the logo just a shade lighter than the actual color of the Guernsey?

Absolutely mind baffling design there.

I don't mind the logo / colors otherwise..

Someone posted this mock up on the SUNS board which would look far superior IMO. The gold (actual gold, not yellow) gives them a unique colour, makes use of one of their alleged colours and obviously fits nicely with their name too.

They don't look like football guernseys neither did the old ones.

They are a new club and aren't beholden to all of the lame 'traditions' that the rest of us have to slavishly follow. I say good on them for stepping out and trying something different. They just haven't been able to get it right yet.

To me thats significantly better than the actual one.

And the gold also moves award from the garish bright red and yellow that they currently use.

Yeah that's far better. I'd put some gold stitching around the sleeves and neckline too personally.

Gold Coast may as well just wear a red guernsey. Who can pick the difference in the logo and background in the red guernsey during a match?

I wonder if GC management will have the balls to admit it's a bad design and make the necessary changes, or they just double down and act like everything is fine.

The red-on-red looks like a training Guernsey at most. or a stealth version
