One of the great mysteries for me is why we drafted him in the first place.

I actually thought he wasn't that bad a player. I mean obviously was a bust at pick 9 but was serviceable for awhile. Played some handy games in 2013.

Yeah, the great mystery is why he didn’t pan out.

His draft year résumé was as close to perfect as you can get for a mid-to-late first round bolter.

Yeah, Wingard and Polec both kicked goals in that Q4 surge that were much tougher than Moore’s.

Would’ve had even better odds as left-footers too.

The funniest thing about the Moore sliding doors is, had we won the flag in 2014 Hinkley probably goes much earlier as the club would’ve had far more pride in its stature and greater expectations in subsequent years.

Plus you wouldn't have the stubborn determination to 'prove the doubters wrong' in the face of increasing evidence that the doubters are in fact right.

Mmmm, he was on fire at the Maggies and was poised to play full-time mid when Wines dislocated his wrist against North in early 2015, but got rubbed out for touching the umpire and missed his chance.
