Small sample size but Port looks much better and when I say better, I mean BETTER with 2 talls and a mixture of medium defenders who can play tall or small.

It looks to me that Jones and Bergman are clearer about their roles. Along with Evans and BZT they are attacking the footy to intercept it. We haven’t seen that from our backs in many weeks. Part of it is that our mids are playing much better and applying pressure up the ground, but credit to our defenders too. Just wish they reign back some of the 8 m passing in our back half.
