Dunno what you're talking about with Amiss his legs and shoulders are way bigger this pre season.
Another one fallen to the off-season body illusions.

100% Agree, but when is Cox finally going to get the message that he must play with far greater urgency. He is now 26 - it is time. The fact he hasn't done so at any stage of his career to date is an indictment on Longmuir, Boyd and primarily himself.Lol.
Cox is very good when he's fit and there isn't a club in the universe playing Davies before Cox.

As for Davies, he made gains in 2024, but still needs to put on far more bulk and stop the brain fades before playing regular AFL.

That seems like a cryptic clue, possibly about implosion.
Which player caused this on Friday?
TTHDThat seems like a cryptic clue, possibly about implosion.
Care to elaborate?
Cox is not a lock down defender, he’s an interceptor, like Ryan and Draper. That was the issue when Pearce went down, our lock down KPDs are Pearce, McDonald and Davies. After Pearce went down, we tried to play Cox as the lockdown with Draper and Ryan, the GWS game showed it clearly didn’t work, if Davies was ready we would have played Cox, Ryan and Davies instead of Draper. Davies isn’t ready so Cox played out of position, in no universe is Davies playing ahead of Cox, if he plays, Cox plays intercept role like he should be.Welcome to the Dockerverse pal.
Cox was crap and cost use games. Sorry to be so harsh but it's possible Davies might have done better.
I reckon Murphy Reid could be in the mix for that Aish/Worner role if he isn't having an impact forward or can't crack midfield minutes. Could be very creative off HB.Think there’s almost no chance we extend McDonald unless Draper and/or Davies go significantly backwards. All the other KPDs are contracted for 2026.
It’s a decision between Aish and Worner IMO. I know who I’d rather play AFL footy for us in 2024. If that doesn’t change then I’m happy to roll Aish over on one year deals until we find someone else that’s ready to play 10-12 games over a season for us. Whichever one we keep is first man in of our of the small defenders are out and is a sub option.
It's also possible that Hogan kicks 12 on Davies and GWS win that game by 40.Welcome to the Dockerverse pal.

Very true. As bad as Cox was that day, Hogan was in career form. His overhead marking was as powerful as I've ever seen from a key forward at the back end of last season. It's also possible that Hogan kicks 12 on Davies and GWS win that game by 40.
Cox was bad that day and no one is saying he wasn't. But one bad game doesn't automatically mean that Cox is crap and should be dropped for Davies.
but thats as bad a game as someone can really play at afl level without there being some long term hang ups about it and rightfully so. ive always been a cox fan but that was pitiful effortIt's also possible that Hogan kicks 12 on Davies and GWS win that game by 40.

I assume you're talking about Murphy Reid here.I reckon Murphy could be in the mix for that Aish/Worner role if he isn't having an impact forward or can't crack midfield minutes. Could be very creative off HB.
Yep. Thanks, just edited itI assume you're talking about Murphy Reid here.
For a bloke on such a long contract, that was a pitiful performance. It's also possible that Hogan kicks 12 on Davies and GWS win that game by 40.

Only if you accept excuses....I'm not upset, I'm just over his cruise around mentality that has been supported by the club. He needs to perform (agree he is a good player at his best) and the best thing about 2024 was the development of Draper, who I hope puts Cox under significant pressure to perform consistently. You can’t change your personality. He is who he is, no point getting upset by it.
When he’s not the main man and fit, he’s a gun.
He looks like he will grow into a strong lad. Legs are already quite solid for an 18 year old 200cm playerHe's already a great size for an 18 year old. I distinctly recall his enormous shoes when I saw him in person a couple of months ago. I reckon there's a good chance he's not finished growing yet.
I get your point, but you play Cox if he's healthy. He ripped his hammy off the bone last year. He's a 2022 AA that was never gonna be at his best. You get him on the park if he's healthy and build for next season. You're looking at a potential short term gain for a long term solution. Cox ain't going anywhere. Davies has done zero at AFL level. Plus the guys doesn't know when to wear a hat ffs. haha.Welcome to the Dockerverse pal.
