Doubt Battle would’ve been top 10 in the time trial last yearHe was a good runner, but where would he have ranked? 10-15? Even that seems like a stretch tbh

Arrogant flogs the lot of them...The way those Hawks supporters think they are experts in list builds and every other club because their side had a good 2nd half of the year is mind boggling
That’s proof he’s on the decline as he gets olderBattle came third in November 2019 and fourth in Jan 2024.

Shows what I know...Battle came third in November 2019 and fourth in Jan 2024.

CAN run, but…Did they have two time trials in 2024 as only the 1 to 4's ran last year, maybe he ran in a second one.
I think there was one as people were taking the piss out of Clark for supposedly wanting a drink of water (which he didn't).
Really everyone gets over excited about TT's. I am sure Gout Gout would win ours pretty easily, but don't know if he can football.
Wanted him to stay, but made the most of him leaving.I rated Battle very highly. But am very happy with how everything transpired and I think his role is replaceable.
I can't find an article on it but a tweet from Pete Ryan of The Age. We did another one in January.Did they have two time trials in 2024 as only the 1 to 4's ran last year, maybe he ran in a second one.

Hill won. Wilson, Phillipou, Garcia and Steele top 5. Windy finished 6th. Seems like we all forget about it.
I remember that too but I can't find it anywhere online to confirmed that it happened. From memory we had two groups last year. The smalls in one and the talls in the other. If Battle couldn't beat the Titanic he must have been struggling.
I saw something along those lines when I searched it before, think it was in a news article. I think it might have said Sharman won.I remember that too but I can't find it anywhere online to confirmed that it happened.
In a nutshell.I rated Battle very highly. But am very happy with how everything transpired and I think his role is replaceable.
Will aim to get there tomorrow- hopefully see a couple of snippets from a different perspective to our regular scribes (who are great!)Anyway... reports have got me excited again. Thanks to all who take the time to contribute. It's appreciated.
