Pretty much a prime example of a sports journo who knows very little about the actual processes and treatments in regards to injuries vs a sportsman who understands the ins and outs.

Honestly, did Edmund really think they were just going for 10 days of treatment and weren’t going to take anything away from it in regards to Jordy’s management for the next part of his career?

Can think of couple of reasons.
1) the first plan of attack would have been to just rest, and see how the body reacts.
Obviously it seems like it hasn't done the trick.
2) they would have spent a lot of time getting opinions from various specialists around australia and around the world ( can be time consuming even for a top level sports organisation)
3) they would have spent time deciding which specialists treatment plan they were ultimately going to follow .
4)getting a treatment block scheduled with a world renowned specialist can be tricky, november may well have been the first available slot.

The other thing is he might be close to fully recovered but they are visiting the facility to work on prevention techniques and core strengthening plans to try and fire proof him moving forward
