As the teams turn at the half way point for the run home, it's only stating the bleeding obvious that some teams seasons will be decided in the next couple of weeks what with the ladder so tight - apart from the top and bottom teams.

Round 10.

Beaumaris vs Marcellin
Old Brighton vs Old Ivnhoe
University Blacks vs Caulfield Grammerians
St Bernards vs Oakleigh
St Kevins vs Hampton Rovers

Mo & Boris to defeat Le Marseilles by 40 pts

Old Brarton to play the ground better than the King Browns in the battle of the Filthy Rich yet grumpy old Farts Cup by 18 pts

UB40's to cause an upset and deliver the first loss to North Caulfield Bears by 8 pts

St.Bernard Baruch's to defeat the Big Thighs in a very, very, very close one.

St.Kevins to play the first quarter, wander over the road for a counter meal, get back half way through the 3rd quarter and still win by 63 points.

I can't believe how poor Hampton were yesterday, this was the most inexperienced side SKOB has put on the park in 25 years, and to have 26 goals 10 behinds kicked on them on a heavy, muddy and dead track was very surprising.
I feel sorry for Barney, has his work cut out.

unfortunately BS, hampton are fielding as young and inexperienced team as we have had in recent history as well.. losing no less that 10 of our starting 18 (all to cash) over the summer has been extremely hard to cover, and add another half a dozen injuries to an already depleted list, well you can start to understand why our win loss ratio is looking how it is. Can only improve from here tho, well and truly found rock bottom.

Not being smart Cubzy (as you know I'm a big fan of the Rovers - ever since big Alfie Panogiotidis kicked 10 on me in 1990) but can you list the 10?

Nearly tipped 5 this week.

Frigging Snowdogs cost me again.

What the hell is going on down there? Cost me a house and my pride but they cannot take my freedom!

....and also why they left, yes ,yes the easy out is stating it was for coin but 10 senior VAFA players to evacuate the club all at once does not sit with anyone here, smells of something else. Past or current coach??

HBP, my good man. Great to see you're still following the lads. Alfie sends his best.
Below is a list of players who have left the club since last season.
Semmel
Gleeson
Curry
Schmitz - who has since returned and played 3.
Pinto
De Boer
Alexander
Robbins D
McNamara
Skewes

Add to that our injury list:
Martyn - yet to play a game
Corp - missed half the season
Woods - missed 7
Duddy - missed 4
Turner - missed 6
Devereaux - missed 4
Henry - missed 6
I'm also reasonably confident there has been only 1 week where we made 3 changes otherwise we've consistently been forced to make anywhere between 5-8 changes every week. Cubzy is one of 4 players to have played all 10 games this year.

Of the 17 players listed, I'd say 2 are fringe players (Schmitz & McNamara) with the rest in our starting 18. You can probably remove Robbins & Skewes who were both 1 year players. Added to our woes are some fringe players that would be in our best currently available who moved to our SFL neighbours last season.
Dallas
Pucella
Batt
Castles
Cave - brother of the world famous Jascave.

We're simply not good enough with the cattle available. A real positive has been the youth that have been exposed to Premier B and will be better for it in the coming years. It's quite clear that Barney has had his work cut out, but I can assure you given our plight the mood around the club has been great. We're still getting numbers on the track and with the reformatting of the U19 competitions seeing our 19s in a more competitive grade for them, we're hoping their thumping win on the weekend might be the spark that gets the club going in terms of wins.

looks like the premiership is heading down bayside way (sorry mick, not hampton)
minor slip up from caulfield and brighton hitting their straps to storm home ala carey 2010
