Keano is a very happy man! It has taken 25 years but we have finally made it back.

Thank you boys! Oh and well done to the Dirty Thirds as well!

Well done Keano15, well done 'whispy' and all at Caulfield - as you know I did not give you guys a chance in hell to even be competitive in B Grade let alone move into A, so all credit to SL and club for proving me wrong.

I like giving you guys some stick but when its all done and dusted my comments mean nothing and you guys are going to A Grade as very deserved participants.

I know SL has cost you heaps, but end of the day he has taken the club somewhere it has not been for 25 years so the ROI becomes irrelevant.

Let me know when the Humble Pie sit down occurs and i will be there.

All the best

Yeah, well done Caulfield. I'd written them off. Good on them. It's been an impressive year. Can one of you Caulfield blokes ask your coach where my Hampton Rovers scarf is? I'd like it back please.

Why dont you ask him for it back. Would be fun to watch that. Not sure you would have the guts though, never mind no surprise there. Enjoy C grade with your new coach next year. You surely woulnt go with him again. :D

No idea how much SL gets CC and not sure it would be that much more or less than other quality coaches in A or B section. I gues he is the example of the old 'you get what you pay for'.
Maybe you and Uncle Mick can have a humble pie session together. Maybe give him some suggestions on how he can get his scarf back.

great 3rd post Captain.

Good to see you have finally grown some 'nuggets' with 2 games to go, obviously a little worried throughout the course of the year to step up and post before. Only Caulfield poster with any cred. here is Keano not weak newbies trying to ice the cake when its all over - goodbye!

To quote my Dad on Father's Day, "Here, here".

Let's see some posts in mid July next year, when like most teams entering A Grade for the 1st time in many years, are struggling.

Are you a real OCGFC supporter of just a knob throwing cheap shots for the cheat seats.

Go Hoes.

Speaking of cheap shots, that O B coach is an absolute w***er. With 5 minutes to go he started yelling out the window for his players to "smack" Bernies players. He even yelled to his runner to go out to Skinner and told him to belt Lozza, never heard it in the VAFA before, what a loser.

I have been saying it all year BS, they have the worst coaching box in ammo's. If not fighting with opposition then fighting amongst themselves akin to watching 3 eggs having a go at each other. Probably best they are out as we do not want that stuff happening on GF day.

OB committee will obviously manage the fall out.

Where will the Premier B preliminary final be played at-Sportscover Arena, Elsternwick, or Trevor Barker Oval, Sandringham?

Yes heard the OB box getting a bit heated in the last qtr and something along those lines were being said. Is a bit dissapointing, but I guess a dissapointed coach coming to grips with the season being over. I am sure he would regret it now.

He may regret it. Problem is it's not the first time we've seen that sort of behavior from him.

CLW - I have no qualms about asking Steve for my scarf back. You might want to get the story behind it before shooting your mouth off. RS & Keano - what chance(s) are the 3 who missed on the weekend of getting up for the big dance?

Looks to me like it's humble pie for dinner all week. Bernies now a legitimate chance, but will have to notch their first win over SKOBs for the season. Some massive question marks over SKOBs now. Pretty sure they not only lost the double chance, but also a finals berth last year on the back of a Rd.18 loss to HR. They've dropped 2 in a row now and with the form Bernies are in must be very concerned with a straight sets outing. All of a sudden the pressure that befell Caulfield the past few weeks is squarely fixed on SKOBs. Have they got the character Caulfield showed to turn things around and book themselves a spot in A?

With respect to ground allocation, my understanding is that the B Prelim & Grand Finals are always at Sportscover on the Saturday followed by A on the Sunday?

From my past experiences, C Grade usually got Sportscover Arena on the Saturday, B Grade was at Trevor Barker.

This was a while ago.

Max, it has obviously been a while in the lower grades for yourself and OI.
I think the Last C section Grand Final to be played at Sportscover Arena was 2003 when Beaumaris defeated Collegians.
Since then every C Section GF has been played at Trevor Barker Oval.

Come on, how can Caulfield not be getting any love?
I'll stuck with them, along with St Bernards to easily beat Brighton.
What a great weekend of tipping this expert had!!!!!

St Bernards to roll SKOB this week by 5 large and then spank Caulfied in the GF, leaving us all having to venture to that shitheap SKOB call home next year…actually, I hope SKOB win come to think off it…..

I reckon this preliminary final on Saturday will be much closer than a lot of people will think. I think it'll be the hardest fought match of the year, and possibly the best game of the finals to date. Whoever wins on Saturday would almost certainly give Caulfield Grammarians a real run for the money in the grand final.

The way you spell leads me to believe you were one of those Haileybury scholarship kids from when they first built Keysborough. Let us all know, were you a badminton player or a handballer?
