2013 Division line up.

Probably the most even bunch of clubs entering into 2013 for Premier B so pre-season movements and early performances will expose the clubs going :thumbsu: and clubs going  by round 4 I reckon.

Old Trinity - must rebuild or face double drop:eek:

Caulfield Grammarians - who will coach and inject some youth or is the 2011 premiership hangover still pounding:cool:

St Kevins - must see the season out - no more excuses come finals time now:oops:

Old Haileybury -time to step up and have a go:mad:

Old Brighton - gloss starting to wear off and are just making up the numbers in B at the moment, needs something:confused:

AJAX - sleeper with new coach appointed - Gee Im going to miss Bernie, what a resilient coach and bloke. With Mcquillen being everything other the the cook at Trinity i.e. Leigh was the Senior Assistant Coach at Old Trinity responsible for (1) Game Plan coordination (2) midfield coaching, (3) strategic opposition video analysis (4) one on one player development (5) senior team selection. also (6) involved at Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup as a development coach for the U16 and (7) U18 teams where his focus has been as forward line coach. .. ALRIGHT ALREADY the guy can coach - welcome on board but the pressure on him to win against OT will be massive.

Werribee Districts - cliff hanging retention and should now feel confident at this level (unfortunately we have to travel over the bloody bridge to see them):(

Old Melburnians - very close this year howver like OB seem to be floating and must push forward again in 2013:D

Parkdale - can they keep the momentum going and do the Beveridge triple peak:thumbsu::thumbsu::rolleyes:

Fitzroy - bridesmaids who need to strenghten their list and confidence to stay up. Great club who must punch above their weight every game.

Any player or coaching movements other than Ajax?.

My Top 4 for 2013

I know parkdale have recruited a league b & f winner & captain of a MPNFL club. Will dominate the league.
Their payroll must surely be near breaking point.e cop to South Adelaide
Looks like we will lose a young gun of our club and the comp to South Adelaide, good luck to Brede, exciting for him!

Exciting bunch of unders coming through for a couple of these teams; tonners and skobs probably the pick of the bunch but melburnians have a few.. Caulfield too.

Can anyone confirm or deny that the coaching staff at Haileybury are ready to walk due not being paid. Heard this from a number of sources at the Valley on Saturday

Would be big news if true but seems unlikely. Seccull is Haileybury to the core and don't think he is in it for the money. Spent years playing for nothing and many years after retirement in various off field roles also for nothing. Is part of the furniture and you reckon he would be the last bloke to walk out on account of not being paid.

Interesting view on OTs, what's the rationale.

Last time we were in C Grade:

1. Pippa Middleton was 4
2. Ferris Buellers was released
3. The Dow Jones year end sat at 1895
4. Halley's Comet came to town

Worst result since 1991 was a B Grade preliminary loss in 1998. Otherwise we've been in A Grade (15 years) or B Grade grand finals (5, including 4 flags).

Current list is very young but will be better for the last couple of years' lessons learnt.

Oh yeah I can really imagine how 15-20 minutes on the other side of the bridge must be such a big inconvenience for everyone hahahaha

Hi all.

Whittlesea Football Club (NFL) are looking for an opponent for practice matches on Saturday March 23 next year.

Our home ground (Whittlesea Showgrounds) is available, and we would like matches for all 3 teams.

We are in Division 2 in 2013, after being in Division 1 the previous 2 seasons.

If you are interested please flick me an email - jarrad_carey@hotmail.com

Cheers!

Strong rumour that Voss is back for the bloods. He's getting on but will be a handful up forward for any defender.

Ex Sandy forward Meehan has committed full-time.

Ridgway hasn't missed a beat this preseason and is expecting a big year.
A rumour is different than fact...Vossy will not be playing. Good to see Brede Seccull training the house down with South Adelaide, with ex De La player Brett Eddy.

Look to be some early exits according to the Clearance Page - VAFA

Clark brothers and Athers fantastic blokes and good club men for many years, but were unlikely to be major factors in the Roy's 2013 season. Actually look to be some interesting ins on that page more so than outs.
