Ever the optimist Les Argen - I do note Monash form has been improved and their reserves have had some improved form. Players back?I think 4 of these are spot on. Monash to cause an upset at the Frearson and pull clear in the relegation battle.
Was just highlighting how hard it is to step from B grade to A grade and succeed. To your point - with which I agree - to progress to an A grade flag even after dominating B grade takes time and better personnel. And some sides get lucky or develop/attract talent or whatever is needed to win a flag (Bernards/SKOBS) and others just miss out (Blues).
Always positive mate. We haven’t got too many back and probably won’t. Realistically we’re massively undermanned and the sides we’ve beaten must just be travelling even worse!Ever the optimist Les Argen - I do note Monash form has been improved and their reserves have had some improved form. Mazenod single point today against Bernards was a rushed behind at about the 24 minute mark of Q4. Just a monster performance from Bernards. Mazenod clearly undermanned but Bernards were very impressive.
We could not remember a scoreboard like today’s in over 20 years me and my mates have been watching Bernards. Jones hit the post 3 times and gave 2 away from less than 20m out....could have kicked 15 to 18.Always positive mate. We haven’t got too many back and probably won’t. Note from today: Is S.Milne the best player ever to play b grade reserve footy?
Can’t believe the Bernie’s win. Can’t recall a flogging that big in this grade.
I cannot believe Milne ran around in the twos.Always positive mate. We haven’t got too many back and probably won’t. Realistically we’re massively undermanned and the sides we’ve beaten must just be travelling even worse!

Mazenod score at half time for Reserves was
0.0.0
Mazenod score at 3/4 time for Seniors was 0.0.0
Give it a spell mate. We get that the Nodders are in struggling and the Bernies are a juggernaut who are absolute certainties to be back in Premier for 2019.
Mazenod obviously facing some tough times so probably no need to rub their face in it.
To be fair that is so diabolical it’s worthy of commentGive it a spell mate. We get that the Nodders are in struggling and the Bernies are a juggernaut who are absolute certainties to be back in Premier for 2019.

Felt a bit sorry for the young Monash kid playing on one of the best small forwards the game has seen.I cannot believe Milne ran around in the twos.
Genuinely was not bragging. We had never seen that before. That is all. And understand your reaction - but I was not crowing.Give it a spell mate. We get that the Nodders are in struggling and the Bernies are a juggernaut who are absolute certainties to be back in Premier for 2019.

It was an interesting stat. Bagman is pretty chilled and humble. I think you overreact here.
Especially when you think they are playing four or five under 19's.Mazenod single point today against Bernards was a rushed behind at about the 24 minute mark of Q4. Just a monster performance from Bernards. Mazenod clearly undermanned but Bernards were very impressive.
Yes. Bernards actually lost 6 from last weeks game - all injured. Played 4 eligible U19s today.Especially when you think they are playing four or five under 19's.
Looking back over the season it seems that two or three are regulars. Can only imagine what a difference those four would make to their u19 side. One would think rather than sitting fourth or fifth, they would be first or second.Yes. Bernards actually lost 6 from last weeks game - all injured. Played 4 eligible U19s today.
19s beat Xavs last week and Beaumaris today. They go OK anyway - if they finish top 4 will fancy themselves. Some good young players apparently.Looking back over the season it seems that two or three are regulars. Can only imagine what a difference those four would make to their u19 side. De La will be tougher next week. Will be interesting to see how they go against a much better drilled team. De La have to be favourites to take the flag.19s beat Xavs last week and Beaumaris today. They go OK anyway - if they finish top 4 will fancy themselves. Some good young players apparently.
Clearly a week to week game. De La lost to Caulfield today - assume an upset.De La will be tougher next week. Will be interesting to see how they go against a much better drilled team. De La have to be favourites to take the flag.
Bernard’s thread or u/19 thread? Where am I?Clearly a week to week game. De La lost to Caulfield today - assume an upset.
Not sure - just chatting with some punters. Genesis of the chat not too hard to discern. Maybe jump to the precious thread.Bernard’s thread or u/19 thread? Where am I?
