Why does everything have to change, why can’t men’s teams have their own trip .

They most certainly can, but others can also choose to have one with the women’s team without it going “too far”.

That was the point.

Bedford was critical of those choosing to do it together. I suggested it was their prerogative and doing so wasn’t “going too far”.

Never said a men’s team couldn’t still run a men’s only football trip did I?

I only brought it up as I've never heard of it before . Does it happen at TAC level ?

My ladder:

Williamstown CYMS
Hampton Rovers
Ormond
Marcellin

Mazenod
Old Camberwell
PEGS
AJAX
Old Mentonians
Old Ivanhoe

Wow both Ormond and Hampton to be around the mark? A double jump?
I always think we over hype winning teams and undersell loosing teams... ie maz and Ajax vs Ormond and Hampton
ie week 1 of afl finals .. but it’s all an opinion I guess.

I’ve heard Ormond young and fast.. they should have a fair crack..

Interesting to see MAZENOD not making the 4 after being dropped.. is a new coach going to help them compete or are they a fair way off it?

Ajax the same.. the bloke from trinity is quality.. don’t be surprised if the jackas compete...

My gut says their will a bottom couple but the comp will be really competitive

Any chance of ex Ormond junior Jack Frost fronting up for the poo and blue next year Bedford? Understand the younger boy who is at Melbourne went to Wesley but Jack went to a local high school so has no ‘old boy’ ties. Notwithstanding he had some concussion issues he would be a bloody handy recruit for the monders.

there is a strong rumour another ormond star who has spent some time elsewhere might re-acquaint himself with mr bedford's laddies.

Both boys went to McKinnon High.

250 on the track. 150 men and 100 women
15 new players (all one pointers)
Skin folds at record lows
Half completing the 2km time trial under 6.00 minutes

Just try to get back up to A grade! I miss those afternoon teas at the lodge!
You can always come back and visit us. :)

We are doing our best. NFL make it hard. But with a senior coaching team, second to none in the VAFA, no stone is being left unturned.

Considering the AFL draft combine record for the 2km time trial is 6.04 minutes, I highly doubt that "half competed the 2km time trial under 6.00 minutes"

PEGS have about 50 on the track at the moment mainly 18-22 year olds with a mix of experienced players. Few new recruits, boys had a disappointing end to last season with half the team overseas, but were able to push Fitzroy all the way last game of the year losing by 2 points at Fitzroy. Fitzroy team was the same 22 that won the GF. That entire last round pegs team is available next year with some new recruits and a u 19 team that made the GF, improvement should come from within. Club is going into 2019 very confident.

And a ripping bloke as coach.
