I could see how the HTB was paid. Why were they dickeahss, sounds like the players were, coaches, committee members and officials lost the plot.

The pressure of relegation does weird things.
I don't think St Bernards have been under relegation pressure every game for the past 30-odd years!? It's par for the course from this club.

Fascinating last 10 mins of the home and away season. Plenty of phones around the grounds refreshing for scores.
Watched the battle of the Lions and Fitzroy definitely bought it and didn’t play like a team deserving of relegation.
For Collegians to make the top 4 is
a great effort considering their injury toll this season.

Of the teams I’ve watched it’s Brightons to lose if they play their best football.
SKOB seem to be peaking at the right time again though.
Scotch of course only recently beat both the top two teams.
Another intriguing September awaits…

Big day at Camberwell with Strangey and Cossy going head to head, with Cossy getting the biscuits! Alas it wasn’t enough for OX to make the cut.

A big finals series awaits, well done to the teams that qualified, whilst goodbye to OM’s and a desperately unlucky Fitzroy, St Bernard’s would be counting their lucky stars.

Braahton without Harry Hill is not going to be their best football.
Team that keeps it together in this ridiculously long season will win.
Marathon!

Seems like Okd Brighton trying to keep the Hill concussion news quiet. According to the a now deleted tweet from the doyen of local footy, Paul Amy, Harry spent the night in hospital after his unfortunate concussion yesterday.

NB: Just heard from a VERY reliable source that Harry Hill asked Paul Amy to delete the tweet as OB are going to try and have him play next week! Interesting watch this one, surely not, especially after the Pisker injury.

Brahton Alumni vs SKOBAFL has been decided by 2 points and 1 point with a win apiece. Has to be toss of a coin odds.
ScotchiesVFL have had a bad last fortnight and it’s write your ticket for WesleyAFL.
All good points XXXX and may well be the reality of how it plays out. But a bookie is always going to make the team who finished 3 games clear a slight favourite.
Bookies would also take into account that OB didn’t have a lot to play for in the last round and still won. An advantage for the team who plays the best footy during the year (and can rest players with niggles if required).

Also if the focus of the betting market is the results between the teams then it would seem odd to make Coll “write your own ticket” when they beat Scotch twice and haven’t lost to them in 10 years.
Only beaten at Brighton by 2 points away as well (albeit the team was in better health then)
