I don't think we can complain too much after 2018 where we got the Friday night slot and the Richmond v Hawks QF got pushed to Thursday.

You could argue that as the top seed Collingwood should get to choose their own timeslot.

I think clubs whinged about 5-6 day breaks. Honestly if you only made an Elimination Final you probably should just cop it imo.

Think it’s because it guarantees a 6 day break for the winner and they try make sure all finals teams have at least a 7 day break.
