Surprised that Tait wasn't given a chance first up.

Perhaps he's injured.

Regardless, with the low cloud, SA might have a chance to take a few wickets this morning.

Cricinfo is constantly going back to stumps scores for me, very frustrating.

Baffling decision.

Tait's worst is more dangerous than anything Mick Miller will ever bowl.

Hoo ****ing ray

Was gonna give up on this game and watch the 2nd XI game but we're 0/87 there

Good to see some youngsters playing in the 2nd XI - Fitzgerald, Higgs, Johnson

and the 12th man for the 1st XI is bowling 2nd change for the 2nd

Hodge gone for 73.

Time for Mossy to turn around his recent form.

Geez, a bit critical. He missed out in the last game (27 & 8), but he's got 615 runs at 55 this season...not long enough to get out of form!

I did say recent, didn't i?

Good little fightback from SA.

5 runs and a wicket from the last 5 overs.

2/138 at lunch.

Excellent comeback from the Redbacks, although i think the horse has bolted.

moss hasn't shown too often in his career an ability to slaughter attacks, he's more of an accumulator.

hodge on the other hand...

Sloooooow

Gah... the go-slow continues.

Mossy has made about 20 runs off 60 ballss and Elliot has made maybe 60 of about 4000 balls.

Is this very disciplined bowling from the Redbacks, or something else?

Half way through day 2 we're 28 runs off first innings points.

So are hard to please.

interest

I'm not complaining... I want the win first and foremost. It's just hard to accurately judge how the game is flowing with the commentary on baggygreen. I'm genuinely interested to know what Elliott (in particular) has been going at such a slow pace, and what implications it has for the state of the game.

Plenty of time left in the game.

Even if we go at this rate for another day, we'll be 300 clear with a day and a half to play.

Time isn't important, that's probably why Elliott is playing it slow.
