A loss here doesn't end the season at all, but imagine what a win would do. We pushed them in this game last year. Interesting discussion the other mob seem to be having around Gunston and Redman last week playing through him.

We should expect to see Ainsworth back at the very least, I would love to see Weller back as well, with 2 weeks off, hopefully his knee is feeling alright.

Unfortunately Weller not expected to play.
Starting to get a bit concerned about his injury.

Was wondering who should match up on gunston, without seeing their game on the weekend I'm thinking Powell could do something similar and be an attacking option on him. Also concerned about weller, they did say there's no structural damage just swelling so wait and see.

You never want to look too far ahead,
Hang on-your entire forum persona revolves around looking too far ahead!:p
expecting a loss but if we play 100% of game time with 100% effort, we will be close all night
If we can't get up and around for this what can we get up and around for?

I know it was last year and Brisbane's list has changed since then but I do believe we would have won the Gabba QClash last year if Ben King had been playing. We were absolutely up for the fight last year and if we come in with the same intensity this time then we're a chance IMO and I think there would be no greater statement to make than a win against our top 4 local rivals. It would be a sweet victory for multiple reasons.

Can't wait to see how the midfield battle plays out. If Noah doesn't get tagged then he's going to absolutely run rampant on Saturday night and Rowell will very likely be there to back him up. Wittsy should get the better of the big O too so we should get plenty of it through the middle. We just have to, have to, have to kick straight when we got shot on goal. It's cost us in the past and Brisbane will absolutely punish us if we don't take advantage of our forward forays. Also really interested to see how Ballard goes against Daniher/Hipwood because he's in ripping form right now. The key to victory is shutting down Charlie Cameron, though.

Im a member with the Suns and it says on my card that we can access the qclash in brisbane subject to capacity. Does anyone know how to get these tickets?

you just get your ticket off the suns app like a normal suns home game and it will work at the gabba.

you cant use a physical suns membership card to swipe in at the gabba, it wont work :)

Flanders is too good for the VFL but can't seem to take the step up to the AFL.
He needs to have a run of games in the AFL that will enable him to either show he has what it takes or that he's a bust.
I would love to see him break out and give the selectors a genuine headache every week about who to drop.
At the moment I can't see it
It what happens when he plays in the guts in the 2s but limited minutes, if any in the 1s. always seems to be stuck out on the grave yard half forward flank

Wow, day over chol. Surprised but don't mind it, chol has been disappointing. Wonder if long is not fit or just not selected. Touk and Weller still massive outs but its a strong team so no excuses.

Personally, I'd rather have 1 less tall, I'd like to add Hollands or Berry to the half forward mix. But I think Day will lead up to the ball a lot better than Chol will, and if that's what Stewie wants, then you need to play that way. Dew will be judged on wins and losses so he needs to go with his gut. Weller and Miller will add some faster ball movement when they become available, Brisbane's team looks loaded, but we have a chance if the bull & the nose get on top
