Heard McVeigh speak post game and he said Benny's injury not as bad as first thought. Still even 3 weeks *GF* maybe too soon. We shall see. All round excellent work. May North or WC take it up to the Pies.

Great win, Morton looked good (amazing what happens when you play an actual foward in the foward line) Jetta looked much better today, though he started shaky. These are the sorts of players who need to stand up to get past the prelim stage.
Love Kennedy, absolute finals specialist. Devasted for Mcglynn hope it's not as bad as it seems.....he would be a huge loss.

OMG! Went absolutely nuts when the siren went. Reminded me when I went to the 03 final against Port. Kudos to the Crows fans sitting around me at the ground. Very gracious in defeat. Poor McGlynn

The 'hold the phone' the week before we beat them at the SCG was better...especially when he was reminded of it when we defeated the reigning premier 7 days later!

Reading the afl.com.au player ratings the one glaring mistake was Johnson at 4/10. Thought his game deserved at least a 9, was brilliant and played his role perfectly.

I was sooo ready to give it to Adelaide fans after this win, with potshots about 'easy draw', 'didn't deserve second position' etc, but frankly I would feel guilty! The class shown by Adelaide posters on this thread has been amazing and I am forced to wish them luck for next week! By the looks of it, you will be playing Freo......what's going on there??? Anyway, all the best.

That tackle was amazing, danger field passed him at full sprint while he was standing still 5 meters away. Brilliant endeavor, hope we see more of it.
