Those last 7 weeks - TT was our focal point.

7 Games - 15 goals, 6 behinds, 19 marks inside 50.

Over those last 7 weeks - FOG/Walker combined (12 games) for 21 goals, 9 behinds, 23 marks inside 50.

TT should absolutely become the big gun and our #1 forward in 2025.

Im more hopeful than positive Laird will miss for Bond, particularly if we stay strong with pushing Laird back to defence.

Given their was 2 Lairds on that teamsheet, if he does actually miss then 2 of those 3 will play. The thing counting against Hugh is his lack of versatility compared to the other 2 but I like what he brings.

Still has some work to do.
Crouch, Tex, ROB, Laird and Sholl probably don't get a game with a premiership side (on forecast 2025 form).

If Sholl keeps up the 2024 form I don’t have a problem with him in there going forward. Emphasis on if, though (even if he doesn’t, him and Dowling is a pretty easy swap)

Tex will only be there for one more year (hopefully Welsh is somewhat good to go in ‘26), and hopefully Laird is phased out over next year like Smith, replaced by Ryan?

I’m okay with Crouch being in there next year, but I’d tell him to assess his options at other clubs at the end of the year, then bring Taylor or pick 4 into that vacant spot in the midfield

God knows what’s happening with ROB, and any future ruck we might get

I’d choose 3/4 of the squad before Laird, but realistically Nicks won’t, at least in R1. Just hoping it’s realised he’s not up to it, at some point next season
