Similar-ish Inside 50’s

Smashed clearances
Smashed in tackles
Smashed in inside 50 tackles, with Port recording an incredible 19 tackles inside 50

ANB and his F50 pressure can’t come quick enough, because we’re just letting the opposition walk out

Laird with 24 disposals and with checks notes a whopping 18 handballs.. I know it was wet but FMD. Terrible work rate, terrible fwd entries…

The combination of Berry, Laird and Soligo got absolutely dominated, only Crouch could hold his head up high there. All 3 lads just seemed unable to get separation, and Berry fumbling constantly was just putting everyone on the outside under pressure..

I actually think a huge difference tonight was Gollant. We were almost playing with one less player on the park with him in the side…

Probably with wet conditions we should have gone with Taylor and Gollant as sub, but everyone on here probably would have melted with Gollant not being put on after his 8 goals

He was gifted most of those goals last week.....found out big time in the big league.

Murphy had his best (LOL) game in what is it, 110 we've gifted him?
2nd time this season he has made 16 disposals

12 in 2023 over 16 and 22 his best
4 in 2022 with 19 again being his best
3 in 2021 with 17 the best
1 in 2020 and that was 16
2 in 2019 with 17 again
0 in 2018

114 games with 22 or 1/5th being 16 disposals or better and 22 his high watermark only once

Thats not even sustainable in a rebuild

Go thru all the tall forwards on the ground, list their disposals, marks, shots on goal and the score they kicked. Where does Gollant sit in the list? I don't think it will be terrible compared to the others, except the poor conversion of shots, which is what I already said.
RT with 11 Fogarty and Gollant 7 each

Fog 2 goals RT 1 and Gollant 0

Good: Dawson, Worrell, Hinge, TT, Crouch (bonus points for flying the flag after Rankine incident)
Bad: no one belted Houston, Butters or that Rioli flog. Murphy, Keane's brain fades
Ugly: Umpiring, Nicks' lack of tactical nous

Think they have a real shot at making a GF. Lot of fraudlent teams in the 8 this year. Only the Giants and Hawks are in better form.
Agree this is not wetting the bet stuff either.

All the teams in the 8 are choking in games they should be winning. No team in 2024 has been a clear standout.

Port playing a non-Victorian team in a GF at the G would be a massive advantage for them.

We weren't the dirtier side. We folded like a deck of cards and went to water.
We played right into their hands after Rankine. We lacked discipline and control. They knew it and fronted us all the more.
We folded/lost our way because we did not know how to handle it all as a team. All this stuff is part of a tough Coaches job. It wasn’t just a minor skirmish/blip and team regroup. No we failed badly after Rankine.

If we can get anything Berry, take it and run. Absolutely not up to scratch.

Laird and Smith are such close friends that someone said "If Smith's form jumped off a cliff would yours too?" Just so bad tonight.

If Keane wants to go, let him. He has cost us precious momentum in the past with his tendency to get fired up at the wrong time and let it out in the wrong way. Just dumb.

Seen enough of Gollant. Doesn't have it. Would've rathered concrete hands Himmelberg out there.

I think either way they were probably going to run over us in the end, but hell, there's not much more "Pwadelaide Fooball" than KO'ing your best player. Unfortunately it worked two fold, took him out, and rattled us to the point where we just couldn't regain any composure.

All true but the writing was on the wall prior to that.

When the going gets tough Nicks’ teams are never able to find a pathway to score.

Gives it to the crowd and then proceeds to do nothing for two and a half quarters, as his team goes under.

Yeah, this bloke really walks the walk.

Selfish pr*ck.

Ok, we get it, you don’t like Rachele.

Believe or not, he is the least of our problems.

We'd have 9 of the previous 11 inside 50s before that and 3 scoring shots to zero for the quarter. And were 2 goals up. Was 5.3 to 0.1 for the 30 minutes after it happened when we completely lost our minds
