I'm willing to take your apologies on Lord Tilly in here. 🙂
You should be apologising to the whole Adelaide Board!

Pay up on you bets too.

I liked how the midfield improved - Sholl very good after coming on.

I think the forward mix isn't right, but I'm not sure which to cut. We play a style that assumes two tall forwards to bring it to ground.

Some terrible goal kicking from both sides, but we probably had four or five chances to ice it
Think I would be looking to swap Berg for Gollant to have a more mobile forward line.

That first half was some of the worst football I've ever seen from us. One of the most basic things in footy of hitting simple targets was a foreign concept to our players.

Crouch, Rowe (aside from that miss), Dawson (second half), Butts, Murray and, of course, Rachele were all very good. Keays got better as the game went on and I liked what I saw from Sholl when he came on.

As for the bad, Sloane is 100% done. Cameron had the balls to drop Coniglio as captain and we need to do the same. He shouldn't be in our best 22. Himmelberg's papers should be stamped now, time for Gollant. Schoenberg was the worst offender for bad kicking, what the **** was that from him? TT was really disappointing too. Not only did he miss that sitter which would've almost sealed the game, that was an awful turnover at the end (although how much was that on Sloane?)

Get used to it. Will see this a few times this year.
It's going to be an up & down year with this young side.

Pleased they fought back after a putrid 1st half of skill levels... even if we teased with a 1 point loss.

Rowe was one who surprised me. He looks fitter than last year and was good playing up the field. McAdam might have to come back via the SANFL, though I'd consider bringing him in for Milera.

Best players IMO were Murray, Rachelle, Sholl, Rowe, Butts and Keays. Crouch was good also.
Yeah, all of these guys were good.

Like how Murray leaves his opponent when needed to support a team mate.

Sholl gave us much needed run when he came on. Needs to be named next week.

Good point re Coniglio

Rowe was one of the few who used the ball well for the whole game.

Elliot Himmelberg makes Ian Perrie look like Nick Riewoldt, the bloke is a timid mess of a footballer.

Sloane’s power at this club is making it near on impossible for this club to move forward and make any progress
Himmelberg has zero intensity at the contest

First half was sh*t. 3rd quarter was great, 4th quarter mostly meh. You don’t win those games

Good:
Rachele
Rowe
Keays
Crouch
Dawson (excellent 2nd half)

Bad:
Sloane (slow, unskillful)
Tilthorpe (and not just the bad miss, awful turnover)
Milera (look massively underdone)
Schoenberg (just a bad one)
McPherson (his injury helped us)
The entire team in the first half except Rowe and Rachele

Ugly
Every kick in the first half
Also Murray

Maybe Hamish should pay for his incompetence?
Blind Freddy could see Tilly wasnt a top 10 pick.
Are you happy being the village idiot?

Himmelberg has zero intensity at the contest
Surely a straight swap for Gollant?

Easily the least impact of our 3 tall forwards.
