What annoys me
Episode 43.

Whenever I go shopping, I usually park well away from the entrance because parking spaces these days are so tight. It amazes me that even though there are stacks of car spaces, and I am far from the entrance, someone always decides the best place to park is right next to me. What the fukc is wrong with people. Are they fukcen morons.
I went to Tasman Meats the other day and I was the only car in the carpark. I parked 5 spaces away from the entrance. Another customer came into the store while I was in there and when I get out to the carpark I find this.

FMD. They could have parked right near the entrance, or even on the other side of the carpark, still closer to the entrance, but no.... the fukcwit has to park right next to me, so I have to try and squeeze into my door.
What's the saying, "common sense is not that common"
Anyone else had the same experience?

Get yourself a disabled permit, works wonders outside of festive periods but then you may also need to have a decent shouting voice and firm tone to match.

Nah u don't even need them anymore, just be an arseh*le like heaps are and park in there anyway, and then when u get called on it, act really aggressively and threatingly.

Then get blocked in, cops called and basically have to pick it up from impound, have done it before, would do it again. Granted, I no longer have to deadlift into a wheelchair. but got no time for people who do it just for convenience, it's like, you want to inconvenience people who actually need it, you can GAGF and go at our time.

I wish, no one wants to enforce it.

Sometimes if I see someone parked well I'll park next to them.

Better the devil you know than parking alone and having no room to get back in your car as some arse has parked a foot over the line and left you half an inch to open your door.

Usually though I always try to park next to a crossing or last in line so one side will be free.

Hi Saints fans. I have not watched your games but I see Ryan Byrnes getting good reviews. Is he purely a mid of can he play HF or HB?

Asking for Fantasy Footy - not trying to trade him from you!

He starts games lined up on the forward end of the ground like an extra wingman. He's then like a roaming wingman running both ways. I guess he's technically a high half forward with licence to roam.

I usually steer away from this thread for sanity reasons, but just a quick request.
If any of you see John Coates or any other Olympic officials around, can you throw an egg at them for me?
And tell any athletes thinking of coming over here that they're not bloody well welcome (over 80% of Japanese people don't want it to be held, and they're not known for expressing their opinions on these things) and to stop being so goddamn selfish.

Holding Olympics during a state of emergency when ambulances are driving around for hours on end unable to find hospitals that can take patients is beyond stupid, people are going to die as a result of this.

The Standoff between the IOC and Japan is such a farce.

IOC are greedy bastards

Why will people die because of it. I know it was a so much smaller scale but the Australian open was going to be shocker for Victoria. Even the ipl in India was working until they travelled on planes. Not sure they will have to do that once in Japan and most athletes will be injected with the vaccine by then.

Japan does have a high density population and an old population.

Plus you are trusting 166 nations to have their vaccine rollout done at a acceptable level.

Money is the real reason why Japan does not want it to go ahead though, Modern Olympics are money pits and a half.

Why would other people catch it off athletes. They will be in a tight hub just as the cricketers were in a country that makes japan look bigger than Australia. Still don’t understand how an athlete catching covid effects hospitals and ambulances

It's more that they can't keep up tending to their own and now the olympics will takes testers, medical staff, and the attention of government that should be planning Covid response not putting in time to something that won't benefit locals.

No separate people will do that. As if they won’t employ more people. Why is it all black or white. Anyway it’s nothing to do with us and if they think they can do it then that’s great. I love the Olympics. I’m sure there was a poll about the Australian open and you bet any more didn’t want it than did

I didn't want it that's for sure.

The whole thing is f***ed and has been since the end of the 1st world war when the British colonials took control Palestine and enabled the wholesale resettlement of European Jews looking to establish a religious based "homeland" inside what was then Palestine.

Now who couldn't see "disaster" written all over that idea.

Anyway back to the central point - in an asymmetrical power struggle, apparently might is always right.
You know the Palestine before 1948 was not the Palestinians of today.

Here is a link not wrolittrn from an Israeli point of view but the facts

Looking at history a solution to the current problems would appear difficult in the extreme.

Personally I think people are asking the wrong questions. I’d like to know what concessions the state of Israel could possibly make that would guarantee its future.

Anyway I’ve met several people who’ve fled conflicts in the area mainly from the Lebanon and I feel very sorry for the many innocent victims of war.

Israel was prepared to give up much of the west bank including parts of Jerusalem, but Ararat said no.

Israel is only a third of the size of Tasmania. One issue is if Israel moves to the 1967 borders. The borders are so narrow that they could not defend themselves.

From what I have studied on Israel that is a propaganda piece. Why do the people who were removed from the land that is now Israel not exist as a people who want land to live on? They aren't Jordanians and Lebanese they are people who were displaced by the English when they handed over their land. It's actually the kind of article that turns people's viewpoints away from the zionists. The weird part is that the author uses communism as a way of scaring the people into delegitimising Palestine. Plenty of Jews were persecuted for being communist and Israel had a strong communist presence early on. They had a social democracy that had some pretty communist elements as well. Australia isn't exactly a model world citizen so it's hard for us to pass judgement but the way Israel behaves under Bibi is more like an apartheid state who beat up on weaker opponents.

As gringo said it might divert resources needed for the Japanese public.

I still think they don't want it to go ahead for monetary reasons though.

I do wish for the Olympics to be on as well though (Female pole vaults are the hottest women athletes at the Olympics and I will fight for this opnion)

My contention is that nothing Israel does in regard to land will do anything other than weaken them.

It‘s also my belief that making concessions will do nothing to placate those who oppose Israel. It will only encourage them to seek what has been openly stated which is the destruction of Israel.
