As the title suggest, try and rate each clubs midfields going into the 2009 season on a scale of 1-10. Can base it on what ever you want, i.e. experience, stats, ability, potential, but maybe give an indication of what basis you have used.

Try and keep it as civilized and unbaised as possible.

Unfortunately it seems you can now add in Stokes to the Geelong midfield. I know you said only 5 but he has been tearing it up this preseason.

Probably swap Thomas for Johnson in Collingwoods top 5 midfielders.

Reason there are so many = is that i feel these sides midfields are very close and i couldnt split them in terms of ability. In saying that the teams mentioned as = have very different abilities such as sydney are a ball winning midfield compared to richmonds more running based side.

Thats more like essendons MF
How can you have dempsey in the midfield as our best?

The problem is, with so many rotations, often the strength of your midfield is determined by how effective your second ruckman and midfielders 6 - 8 are.

Hawks starting midfield is: Campbell and Sewell, Mitchell, Lewis, Bateman and Young.

Our second string is something like: Taylor/Renouf and Hodge, Dew, Ellis, Osborne and Rioli.
