Between Bell, Cripps, Graham and Holman we really do have some hard bodies around the footy.

No wonder we annihilated GC in the clearances, they were probably too scared to get in there.

Amazing, regardless of the opposition when we play a decent brand of football. Just goes to show what our boys can deliver when they are not restricted by a game plan that is out dated and not applicable or belong in today's AFL standard of football, and what our kids are able to contribute when given a chance. Keep up the intensity and attitude, that's all we ever ask as supporters.

Interesting stat from Huddo that we're going around the boundary more under JB than we did under MM (though I'm sure we're getting more possessions in whole with JB).

Our running goals from our HB line were the highlight... 2E, Yaz and SOJ's goal was sick... took it at full pace, and kicked from well inside the square and it cleared the line...

We really destroyed them today tho.. just poor kicking stopped us from winning by 50+ points..

Krooze is a gun - another midfielder to me, but with a huge body...
I know he has poor disposal at time, but **** me I love how Bell just takes players on...
The youngsters were all solid today which is a very good sign..

Just imagine this team/squad with the following players back from injury, suspension or have not been traded for shit - and the most important ALL HAPPY TO BE PLAYING FOOTY AS IF THEY WERE BACK AT AUSKICK..!!

Only a couple years ago, they were in the top 10 of our team.. Could have been a very different last couple years in my opinion...

Also, In the 1st qtr, did anyone else see the little fraka between cripps and rains while they were coming off... I was lucky to have it right in front of me...

Rains went it for the big bump, Cripps sold some candy and let him go through almost end up on his ass... Then he went back for seconds which cripps obliged and sent him staggering like a drunk at 4am...

Got a massive ovation...

2 in a row, and i rate us a huge chance to go three in a row next week to set up a big game against the tigers in round 15. Also note that barker has won 2 from 4 with the same list that Malthouse could only get 1 from 7 and didnt rate.

Kreuzer - 22 hitouts, 17 disposals, 8 marks. Well done big fella. And Wood wasnt far behind.
Buckley was awesome, providing the run and enthusiasm Id dearly love to see Yarran doing.
Cripps, standing tall all over the ground.
White - I think continually underrated. I dont think he'll go when Jamison comes back, but then Im not sure who will.
Murphy - another great game.
bell - sometimes struggles skillwise, but he keeps going. I think thats representative of the entire team at the moment.
Cripps, Graham, Buckley - theres a core to go on with if there ever was.

Negatives -
Our goalkicking - 3.7 in the third was pretty poor, and many were gettable.
Menzel should have gone off and stayed off as soon as that knee went. I hate clubs the idea of putting injured players back out on the park, especially with his injury.

Ellard will probably go again, out for Jamison. I think White will be retained - he's been pretty good for mine, giving Jamison the freedom to attack up the ground - which I love the idea of. Boekhurst in for Menzel if he cant get up.

Haha, this kid is something.

Taggers will start learning that trying to tag him or rough him up will be both dangerous and frustrating to try to do. He's a contested beast who will have most of them covered in the air. No wonder some idiot went for his gonads. (cheap dirty shot).

No bullshit about him and just gets the job done, that huge tank means he just keeps summoning repeat efforts when others are running on empty.

Most of us were giving it to Ellard today yet he found it 18 times and laid 5 tackles, not bad for small fwd... Although he was wasteful

50% efficiency, could've had 30 touches if he didn't fumble the other 12.
He's just not up to it at all, really don't know how he has played 57 AFL games.

Interesting stat, although if you watch Carlton play over the last month and compare with the the games under MM, it is chalk and cheese. You can't change the entire game plan only tinker with it, you also give the players the opportunity to play with freedom and start to enjoy there football and start to give the kids a game and this is the result. This doesn't mean we have turned the corner, it simply creates belief amongst the players and it is starting to rub off on the kids getting there opportunities like Graham and now Holman.
