Atkins is Mr Consistency and his toughness is what is missing from some others. Its Miers who has had a couple of lean games in the last three and I would be dropping him.

Sav in (or Buzza if he is not fit), Hendo for Kolo if he can't get up. Parfitt for Miers, anyone for Guthrie.

Miers was one of our best players and crucial to us getting on top.... Literally 2 games ago

He's not getting dropped nor should he be close to it IMO

If his body is OK etc... keeps going..if he needs a rest etc fine give him a week off .. still only young.. and this game is really not our most desperate.

I think if we are going to rest a young player to freshen then up ahead of finals, then the Freo game may be a good option - Swans at the SCG on the Sunday afternoon, 6 days later we play Freo at Optus.

Back to back interstate trips & a 6-day break may see the club take the opportunity to rest/manage a couple of players. Especially when you consider the next match is in Geelong followed by a trip to the GABBA.

Rather rest players when there's excess travel compared with when playing at home and the travel factor isn't an issue

If Buzza doesnt get selected after the form his has shown ..with Sav out of the side ... he must be gone in the coaches eyes.
Fogarty stay in for mine .. let him play and get better on ball. Give Parfiit anotehr week or one in the 2's his form is not that good that he is an auto selection
Agree Buzza
Disagree Parfitt- his input was missed against the Dogs- he is way more worthy than Fog. It's not auto selection- he was rested this week.

I'm expecting the Saints to park the bus across half back and keep their own forward 50 open, this will be a s**tfull game of footy.

Yep. This will get ugly. Richardson's job is on the line and they can't afford an 80+ point drubbing. I reckon we will still win by 5-6 goals, but he will try to make it as hard as possible for us to score imo.

Allows Harry KF if Sav not up yet.
Rather keep Harry back - he's played some really good & solid football as a KPD this year, so surely it's better to not be making unnecessary changes that risk flirting with form. Same reason we should be getting our back up ruck playing forward rather than moving Blicavs from FB

Just no.
Harry is a backman, you bring in Buzza or similar to play CHF.
I'm sick and tired of seeing the MC turn performing defenders into average forwards who then struggle to recapture that form when they inevitably go back.
We look at sea defensively lately, no doubt throwing the defenders all over the ground has something to do with it.
