Not sure if Nick is a member here, but want to thank him for sharing this clip on X

Surely a top 5, if not top 3 highlight of Stewart's career so far, and with game #150 tomorrow night, seems a fitting time to share again

That chase still gives me goosebumps.
The stats will say 1 tackle only but man what a piece of play.

Not saying he should be the sub every week but every now and again to manage his load
Maybe further down the line but if it got to the stage where he needed a rest I'd rather they just give him the week off. 19 or 20 full games on, 3 or 4 weeks off (plus bye) would be a dream scenario for us.

Whereas Tuohy and Rohan I wouldn't mind at all having multiple turns with the vest.

AFL website is showing

Out: Bruhn (injured)
In: Mullin

Scotty 0/2 on the injury front! :grinv1:
Bloody hell. Leaves the midfield a bit thin!

EDIT - Mannagh you would assume plays full game in the midfield.

So we already put a fork in Parf.
Now we stick another one in Bews.

Hopefully Mullin can get the job done, I think his defence could be solid but he hasn’t developed much of an attacking game yet.

The club clearly believes in him though.

Clark will need to have a solid game whilst this midfield is so thin.

Bruhn missing is already hurting.... BUGGER!!
Long break until we play the Dawks, I can understand the conservative approach.

You'd think both Bruhn & Bowes will play by then, so while we look thin through the midfield this week, you can understand playing the long game here.

Mannagh can probably replicate Bruhn's performance for a week, he's got some tricks does Shaun, and he's looked well at home at AFL level everytime he's gotten a shot.

Mullin will end up the sub, and probably comes on with a quarter to go to just run blokes ragged and provide and option.

It won't be Mullin.

Mannagh into the 22. Mullin to sub.

Yes agree. Shaun to play.
It's a bit unbelievable that Bruhn was sent back out for 3 quarters, and now seems to have aggravated an injury that keeps him out.
Must have been a tight call, but maybe better to have stayed off v STK? Suppose that's fine in hindsight.

Good thing don't you think? You've been big on the next generation and the MC not playing favourites, I've been pretty happy with their decisions so far.

Parfitt & Bews are classic examples of the old "If its neck and neck, pick the younger guy" selection policy.

They're never going to be any more than what they are, and the kids are going past them (and quickly) while at this stage the older guys haven't missed a beat.
