If we had Freddy and Switta playing as well as Darcy coming back I'd give us a chance, but too many outs to cover this week against probably the best midfield in the comp. Can't see us getting over the line here. Their mids are way better than Carlton, and Rozee is in career best form.
Rozee, Horne Francis & Butters will unfortunately be too much.
Did he play a full game in the WAFL?Chappy as sub for mine. Moved good today.
Seemed out there for the bulk I thought. Moved well and broke the lines.Did he play a full game in the WAFL?
I thought he was on limited minutes?
From what I saw, the limitation would've been in total TOG%, but the TOG would've been about evenly split btwn the quarters. He was out there in the last quarter and played out a good portion of that fwiw.Did he play a full game in the WAFL?

Random one. Would we consider Fyfe as sub for a week?
I know he’s been good, but Port will expose leg speed and this is a game we could manage him.
JOM gets a full game. Although that doesn’t assist leg speed.
I want to think our mids will compete but Rozee, Butters, Horne Francis will completely kill us on the spread unless we can win clearances heavily.
With out Fyfe, our size would be exposed.
Either way, I think we are in trouble.
What did he say?
Chappy numbers look good on paper and he’s very versatile. Move him forward to cover for Freddy and he’s good in the air. Very handy.
In: Chappy, JOM
Out: Freddy, Switta
Sub: Johnson
Against port is not the time to be tinkering with our mids, who overall have been getting it done. Fyfe on his own may not win us the game but as a collective with Brayshaw, serong and young they have chance.Well that’s why give him the sub role to manage. Is Fyfe going to be what wins is the game? I’d argue no.
I don’t think we’ll make him sub, but it’s at that point of the season where we don’t reduce his minutes and he pings a hammy in round 7 and we do the whole hindsight thing.
So, this is an opportunity to possibly rest or reduce.

Would be bad move to substitute Jag in place of Fyfe as don't think he brings the same value to that mix
Butters, rozee and horne Francis are good but they not unstoppable
Fyfe will squash butters lol
If that's truly a concern, manage him for the derby. Hell, all the derbies we've won since derby 1 2015 haven't featured Fyfe, so maybe he's a bad omen.I’m not worried about the result. I’m worried about his body getting through an entire season.
It’s not tinkering for outcome. It’s tinkering for longer term thought process.
I can genuinely see him doing a soft tissue in the next month if we don’t manage him.
Due to the shorter turnaround Simpson more likely Sub I reckon plus he got banged up a bit again today.
Is Worner already in Adelaide? He didn’t play today for Peel. Maybe he will be a sub option.
Nah he definitely played after it. He took a free kick on the boundary line inside 50 for I believe an out on the full in the final quarter. Though I did think his influence waned post-trip. Grub move.I don’t think he Simpson came back after that filthy hit. I hope the grub that kneed him gets a week for that! Has to qualify as a trip.
Had a lot of the Mitchell on Fyfe hit.
Won’t be shocked to hear he’s out for weeks with the way our smalls are dropping
Barich is right on board with the idea so at least he is giving it some media voiceSurely Garlick and Pyke are campaigning for a 13th game at Optus for the 2 WA teams next year. The gather round is great but shouldn't add to our travel schedule, Gather Round should be 1 of our 10 interstate games.
Butters, Rozee and Horne Francis have been exposed on occasions. are often elite when the team is flowing but they have been shown to not run two ways when things get a bit tougher. We need Fyfe badly for this one.Against port is not the time to be tinkering with our mids, who overall have been getting it done. If I was gunna pick a B22 that MIGHT get the job done against Port, I reckon this would be it.Out: Taberner, Switkowski and Frederick
In: Darcy, Simpson and Erasmus
FB: Ryan Pearce Walker
HB: Aish Draper Clark
C: Brayshaw Young Sharp
HF: Erasmus Jackson Emmett
FF: Walters Amiss Treacy
R: Darcy Serong Fyfe
I: O'Meara Johnson Hughes Banfield
S: Simpson
Darcy coming in will ease his load dramatically anyways. But all players have up and down games through a season, especially younger ones. He was still more than useful on the weekend, even if not perfect.Anyone else thinks Jackson needs to be rested ? If Darcy is 100% bring him in and give Jackson a break. He looked exhausted against the blues. A week off to rest up will do a load of good. But that’s just me it’s a long season
