The Pies have probably the tallest side in the comp - on average - with Cox, Grundy and Moore all at 202cm's plus.

May well have been the game for us to play a McKay or Preuss.

Pretty even across the ages and games played.

Yeh it’s called the fortnight after the GF

Most clubs do it

Use Google for October AFL in your search

I remember one year we did it before the Finals
You're assuming i was referring to list management in isolation. I think you'd agree weekly selection plays a vital role in developing a flag contender.

Quietly confident
We are on the up playing a fair portion of good footy
They are in strife hopefully
Be good to see a win at the G
Go Roos

No

It’s a team game that plays as a team game with all the buy in that’s required

Switching and swapping and you end up with inconsistent performance

It’s the reason why Geelong aren’t up to it

It’s the reason why injuries (eg Crows) fell away like our 2017

Do you think that, once you've identified that a player isn't going to make your middling team better, it's best to let them play out the season in the seniors rather than begin using them as backup while you try to find someone who will?

To me it sounds like, as a supporter of a bog average team, your overvaluing consistency of output too much.

G'day fellas.

As someone who enjoys reading other teams board's leading up to games, i have to say its refreshing to quality of discussion going on over here.

Used to reading utter garbage, its refreshing to read some realistic intelligent thoughts for a change...

Yep, we positively ooze highbrow content around here.

Let me guess - was it the post referring to one of our own players as a "prick" that tipped you off?

Yeah, we've been shit since we got rid of Gibbo ... ;)

I'll be honest with you, Hof, I've been through the whole thread and I can't find a single post inferring anything that even remotely resembles the above. So I'm wondering what motivated you to make that call, or indeed who it was directed at?

Just playing a bit of devilled apricot in relation to Sopwith's and Gaso's post about TZ still not getting Gibbo's role. More a tongue in cheek call than anything though. Gibbo wasn't a great player but we were never a great team. He suited the level we played at.
