REBECCA Twigley has given the thumbs up to the navy Blues after Carlton snared her star footballer boyfriend Chris Judd.
The stunning partner of AFL's hottest property says a big crowd at the MCG gives her goosebumps and she can't wait to watch Judd playing for his new team. Carlton yesterday officially secured one of the best AFL players of the modern era after he quit as West Coast captain, citing a desire to return to family and friends in Victoria.
Ms Twigley told Herald Sun Online she was very happy Judd picked Carlton, and she planned to watch every game in Melbourne next season.
"They have a fantastic looking jumper and the future looks good for them," Ms Twigley said.
The speech pathology student and part-time model shares her long-term partner's love of blockbuster matches at the MCG.
"It's a sporting mecca. It's the best venue for both spectators and players," she said from Perth where she is finishing her year's studies.
"When there's a full house the atmosphere is electrifying - it gives me goose bumps."
Ms Twigley said she loved Melbourne's shopping, restaurants and events, especially the Spring Racing Carnival.
"And I also like the vibe of the people in Melbourne. They are warm and friendly like Perth people."
She is taking a girlfriend to Oaks Day as Judd, who is recovering from injury, plans to start training.
"This is one of my all-time favourite events. I love dressing up and I have an interest in racing so it's always a great day, especially when the sun is shining."
Ms Twigley's style has been keenly watched since she turned heads in a jaw-dropping red dress when Judd clinched the 2004 Brownlow medal.
She said Melbourne's fashion was a bit edgier than Perth, which favoured a beach feel.
"I haven't really done that much shopping in Melbourne but I like Chapel and Greville streets.
"I like the fact that in Melbourne you can get great clothes `just around the corner,' as in there are great shops in lots of suburbs and you don't just have to go to Chapel St or the city or shopping malls."
Ms Twigley has spent years modelling and has presented weather and lifestyle segments with Channel 7 in Perth.

Twiggley is very overated, come to Perth and tarts like her are
everywhere...
She is a very shallow, publicity seeking bimbo...
In time you will come to realise this, be worned she is poison....

Did you think she was going to be employed as the State Minister for Science? Way to state the bleeding obvious, clown.
