You Beauty.

PHX, you have just been awarded a prize. Entry into LVT06's spank bank for this week.

Stoked. Although just a preseason game, its bloody great to see the tigers play. Should be upwards of 5 games this season.

GO THE TIGERS

Good to see Tigers in Qld AFL must be desperate to promote the game on the gold coast. They'd be better off ensuring more games are live free to air TV and more people may get interested in the game here

Un-F*****-believable

Only wish it were in Brisbane though, GC stadium is a bitch to get to and park.:p

Might only be a pre-season, but I have been on an enforced No Tiger diet up here, will no doubt find a way to get myself down there - and hopefully drag a few along with me

Friday night is good too, means I won't have to rush down after cricket / footy practice match. Finally some luck!

Thank you PHX, the bringer of good tidings.

You can say that again.

Although we do get more games then Rugby Leauge on Free to Air.

The thing that sucks is. Saturday night football. When the Lions arent playing its on delay. That is just crap. Play the game no matter what.

Fantastic :D

Now if only the AFL will schedule a Tiges/Lions game at the gabba in the next few years.
Think there is one scheduled for 2011 but I could be wrong.
Carrara is a waste of time Even Lions supporters wont bother driving down.
Lucky to get a few thousand there and most will have complimentary tickets to 'swell' the numbers.

gotta luv the new buzz words for the tigers...."fine tuning"....aaah we got smashed...oh well we were fine tuning for R1...but the skills were shit again...oh well we are fine tuning for R1...nothing much has changed over the last 5 years in the praccy matches...we look to lack the skill to execute the plan...oh well we are fine tuning for R1. And if we lose R1, we are pacing ourselves in an effort to fine tune ourselves for finals.;)

what game are you talking about..Fri night v the saints...we had 60% of our R1 side on the sidelines..get a grip partner..how can you tune them when they're i the stands:eek:

We are fine tuning them for the finals. But hey? they should have had a good tuning for that over the stretch...they must be working out new ways to sit and watch..either that or TW has latched onto another super plan, to go with his trans in the box, the storm players teaching tackling skills, now he has got Bart Cummings to teach them how to fine tune their training. Its all about the fine tuning dude. ;)

Seems like a full dress rehearsal bar Andrew Browne and Alex Rance who must be impressing. We should win with this side out there...2 weeks out from round one, we need a confidence boosting win. Don;t know about Brisbane, but judging by their side I'm tipping they'll be having a long season!

Re: NAB Cup Round 4: Brisbane v Richmond

hmmm... no Nahas no Thomson I expected to see them in there.
Good to see Browne and Rance maybe getting another crack

Re: NAB Cup Round 4: Brisbane v Richmond

I hope Thomson gets a game Round 1. He deserves it..

Well done to Rance and Browne for getting the opportunity, by the look of it, to be in contention.

No radio or TV coverage for this one..

It's on Friday night up at the Gold Coast Stadium (where we will play one game this year). 7:30pm. The weather: a few showers and 27.

Our round 1 opponent Carltank play on the Saturday afternoon in regional WA in Bunbury. 4:00pm. The weather: fine and 33.

Playing 3 ruckmen. Pretty decent side anyways, nearly side I would take into round 1 - a ruckman and Bowden + Thomson, Nahas. Anyone else noticeably missing who are fit? Hopefully Browne totally shows up Graham, that would make TW eat his own words, once again and might have to rethink our 2nd ruck option.

Don't think temperature or anything really matters. Both teams have over a week to prepare for Round 1.

Re: NAB Cup Round 4: Brisbane v Richmond
