What are the chances of Houli missing ben the gooner.

I've only heard what you've heard mate. He'd be a massive blow though, as he's been very solid in the first two weeks. That goal against Geelong was excellent. Shame they kicked the next 70. I'd say he'd probably be replaced by Slattery, which would be a quick out for a slow. That'd be a massively good change for you.

Cheers for that.:thumbsu:

Different game plan under Sheedy.

Also less dead wood on your list.

And if you're so confident, post your reasons of why you're better than us. Come on. I dare you.

Because you only have one reliable scoring option (Lloyd) McPhee does not kick enough goals, Hille and Laycock at best will kick 3.
You are completely rubbish when playing at the MCG... (where the Grand Final is played) whats your record there now in the H&A season???
You only have 2 and a half decent midfielders that continually get the job done (McVeigh (carrazzo will most likely take him as he goes missing when someone is following him) & Stanton (who is a wee bit better version of our Houlihan) and the half is Watson (who's only weapon are his hands)).... Davey, Nash, Jetta, Monfries, Lovett & Dyson go missing far to often...
More so you are playing against CARLTON and when it counts you CHOKE... would you like me to indulge... all the best

We kicked 19 goals against North. 6 were from Lloyd, 4 from NLM and the rest were single goal kickers. That's 11 individual goal kickers, or half the team. We'll be right thanks.

Our record at the 'G? It's the same as yours isn't it? 16 biggies?;)

As was said in the other thread, last year, Watson had the highest possessions to game time ratio. He also has a kicking accuracy of just under 80%. In our two games so far he has had 31 and 14 possessions (45), with 14 and 7 kicks (21). I'll take the 1 in 5 missed kicks, for 17 accurate kicks.

You've got to be joking about McVeigh. When he's followed, it's generally because he's being played as a tagger rather than being tagged.

Nash and Dyson aside, the job of all the players you listed is to pop up and kick the occasional goal from nothing. They do that quite sufficiently.

You're calling Nash too early. The kid's only played a few games, and has a lot of developing to go. Give him time.

Dyson. Everyone knows he's on his last chance, and he has been performing very well this year. Let him go at your peril.

You haven't answered my original post either.

1. Goal scoring options - Lloyd is your only genuine goal scorer (prove me wrong), now as pointed out by you you have less options with NLM not playing. Who will kick your goals???
2. Record at the G - im pretty sure i mentioned nothing about Grand Finals and was refering to your H&A record recently... am i going crazy or was that a bit difficult to comprehend for you....
3. Watson's ability - Kicking ability is what makes a player damaging. Like Carrazzo, Watson can have as many handpasses as he likes but if you can't dispose of the football by foot CONSISTANTLY and PURPOSEFULLY you are almost a hazard.
4. McVeigh - so in round one (Kangaroos) the player who was "Tagging" him should be dropped and to never have that roll again. How many possies did he have again 30 odd... i find it highly unlikely that he had someone following him as i was watching the game. Last week was tagged... please tell me how many stats he had.
5. you can not rely on onballers to consistantly kick your goals. You need power forwards and quality crumbing forwards for that roll. Lloyd aside you struggle... once again prove me wrong.
6. Nash - your probably right, it may be early... whats your point...
7. Dyson - Jordan Russell is on his last chance and played reasonably well last week, so whats your point. Once again i can hardly see Dyson being a game winner.

anything else... tick tock tick tock

I actually pointed out that half of our team kicked goals against North.

2. Record at the G - im pretty sure i mentioned nothing about Grand Finals and was refering to your H&A record recently... am i going crazy or was that a bit difficult to comprehend for you....

Tongue firmly in cheek. I know our record at the 'G has been shit, but we can always turn it around.

3. Watson's ability - Kicking ability is what makes a player damaging. Like Carrazzo, Watson can have as many handpasses as he likes but if you can't dispose of the football by foot CONSISTANTLY and PURPOSEFULLY you are almost a hazard.

80% kicking efficiency.

Actually, he is often played as a tagger, and often played as an attacking midfielder. No-one played well last week, Ryder aside, and Geelong played the best I've ever seen them. That's not a great week to get stats etc. from.

5. you can not rely on onballers to consistantly kick your goals. You need power forwards and quality crumbing forwards for that roll. Lloyd aside you struggle... once again prove me wrong.

Hille and Laycock will dominate the weak-bodied youngsters that you will put on them. Expect 6+ between them.

6. Nash - your probably right, it may be early... whats your point...

My point is that you can't judge him on his first few games. Give him to 50, then see what sort of player he will be.

7. Dyson - Jordan Russell is on his last chance and played reasonably well last week, so whats your point. Once again i can hardly see Dyson being a game winner.

Dyson has played very well in every game, North aside. I'm not sure about the WCE praccy, but he dominated the NAB Cup and played pretty well last week in a 99 point loss. Underestimate at your peril.

Still yet to refute the 4 points in my OP.
