So potentially Murphy, Gibbs and SPS out of an already shallow midfield. Graham, Kerridge and Cuningham to replace them, possibly Smedts.

I'll help you.

Rowe is being played back to support the young guys.
Throwing another 19 year old into the back-line, doesn't fit this plan.

What good would it to play Weitering back other than for him to get his hands onto the ball? Is that it?
Does Weitering need to touch the ball to make him a better player? Is this 40 year old head losing confidence needing us to prop him up?
What if he plays bad down back? Plan B?

We had a roadmap (is that the term that Bolton is using now?) but a couple of poor performances and we want to rip it up?

BTW. Rowe isn't such a great forward........that's why we put him into the back-line. Easy to forget, I guess.

Harker for me, if Weitering goes back, IMO, there is no place in the team at all for Rowe. I'd be more than happy from this week onwards to go Weitering, Marchbank, Plowman and Docherty Williamson and Simpson as the back 6 moving forwards. No problem with that at all. In fact Id prefer it if I'm honest.

Any word on murph?

SPS and Macreadie will be tested both hit brickwall
Thought we'd see that soon but was expecting maybe after the Sydney game. Still, no point in flogging them now at all. They've done well to get up for this many games this early!

Looking forward to seeing who comes in. Maybe Polson will have more time on ball too. Great stuff.

Smedts - Marchbank -Williamson
Cuningham- Cripps - Doc
SOS - Weitering - C.Cunow
Wright - Cas - Pickett
Kruz - Gibbs - E.Curnow

I mostly agree with this except the playing KJ and Jones.

I would drop Wright for Graham

Macreadie for Cunners and play Weitering down back.

I'd keep Pickett in for one more week because I genuinely think he's close to making an impact.

I agree Smedts for Polson though I wouldn't be upset to see Polson play another week.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

I'd keep Pickett in for all 22 games barring injury.

kerridge I continue to liken to carrots both in his ability to accumulate and his need to improve - his hands, his de, his composure - and as with carrots we all thought well if he has it 35 times that's 35 times they don't - until he kicks it straight to them of course :$

FB: Plowman - Rowe - Marchbank
HB: Docherty - Weitering - Simpson

C: ECurnow - Gibbs - Cuningham
OB: Kruezer - Cripps - Murphy

HF: Silvagni - Jaksch - CCurnow
FF: Pickett - Casboult - Wright

Inter -
White
Williamson (I want to see him higher up the ground playing on the wing/midfield)
Fisher
Polson

McCreadie (soreness) replaced by Jaksch or McKay
Petreski-Seton (soreness) replaced by Cuningham
Phillips (omitted) replaced by Kruezer

Any chance we throw Doc and Charlie into the guts for large parts of the game? Especially if Murph and or Gibbs are out and SPS is sore/tired.

With what I see as a lack of speed and numbers in the middle to run both ways, I'd like to see:

Out: Macreadie, SPS (rested), White (omitted)
In: Cuningham, Graham, Smedts.
