speaking of umpires did anyone see in i think the 2nd quarter when Griff was two on one not far from goal and each basically held an arm and he couldn't get either up to compete for the mark?
Griff was amazing early, he was a big reason we destroyed them early as he was tearing up HF. That 15 minutes was the best football we have ever played and he was a huge part of it, if we can get him to produce that form long term we have close to the best player in the league. He is seriously a freak in terms of potential.

Yep, I saw that one. I was screaming at the TV, especially since that was after the several times Jack was getting held so he couldn't get a run at the ball.
Umps were trash. Rules apply sometimes and not other times. E.g, Swans player bending over to pick up the ball and Petterd pushes him, free kick, Cotch and Newy do the same thing and get pushed down, no free kick.

I think for me this run of form became satisfying with the win over the Power. At that stage I was glad they got a good scalp. Wins against the Eagles and Crows on the road made me think 'bloody hell' what a shame we didn't get it going earlier, this is good stuff and I am so glad the team is winning each week, how long have we suffered more losses than victories season in, season out. Beating the Bombers was the sealer that told me we are really doing something significant but it was still a dream state type of thing to think that we would actually get to this point. Yes its only 8th place but this is one THE most massive 8th place/finals contention chase downs in the games history. Certainly for Richmond. Well and truly celebration worthy!
Outstanding contributions from Anthony Miles and Brandon Ellis who have given us that slick alternate midfield quality during this winning run. Great form turn arounds by Chaplin, Houli, Grimes, Ellis and a big win is having the soldierly workmanship of Batchelor stepping up and taking his chance. Also Griffiths has stepped in and made his place.
Today though, hats off to Rance, Maric, Martin, Lids, Chaplin, Riewoldt, Edwards in the 2nd half, Grimes, hell the whole the bloody team!!! (Though Morris was a bit of a turn over machine).

I remember Morris? getting a free against him for pushing a player in the back, out of the contest. Later on, same thing happens to us, no free kick. You watch the highlights and there's 3 instances of it happening just in that 6 minute video. It's f**king BS.
