Yep, I'm loving his role as a defensive winger. Pickett does similar but just misses that bit of experience and cool head KMac (occasionally) has.

Yeah I’ve always rated Kmac playing that fat side winger role

He’s a decent size and can run forever And every now and again he has these purple patches in games that can really break games open

He has the odd brain fade but he brings enough to the table to make up for it
He’s due for his 100th game soon as well I’m pretty sure

Our midfield is Cotchin (brownlow medallist), Martin (brownlow medallist) and Prestia. Add in Bolton, Lambert, Edwards, Caddy, Stack. There’s a good mix there of inside and outside players.

Good game. Port were red hot tonight. Our fight back was also very good. Lots of positives to take away.

Also, Eddie “in the back” McGuire should never commentate our games again. Always banging on about missed free kicks, up to a minute later. If you’re going to do that - at least appeal them both ways. His commentary makes for a frustrating viewing experience. The only thing he didn’t do today was sit in the Port cheer squad.
