Robbo doesn't expect him to be in the top 50 this year.

What's the debate?

I expect to buy a sandwich for lunch. Am I right or wrong?

Gee it'll be massive if I don't end up getting one! Tune in this afternoon for the big recap!

Mate this is a forum? Not sure what point you're trying to prove here. Bad day?

I wrote Hurley probably deserves a spot and you've lost it :joycat:

Whilst 32 is on the high side, it’s not the worst one. I’d have him inside the 50 too. Leadership does come into it. Bat none, the best leader in the game.
that is a hard thing to prove or disprove and is very subjective

I often tend to think that the captain of the current most successful teams gets all the plaudits of being the best captain in the league when in actual fact there is very little proof that is the case

Timely, just had a crack at my own top ten.

Great effort mate. Love your channel, you tend to be very impartial which I like. Forget what it was called but the Adam Simpson video you did was spectacular

There are precisely zero defenders in this league who have both the intercept ability AND the elite kicking that Sicily has.

He intercepts opposing kicks and kills you the other way.
Haynes, Hurn and Moore match him in that sense, Stewart a lightly worse kick but a better defender. Sicily really isn’t that unique.

How can anyone be "Out Of Place" on a predictive list that exists in his own mind ?

Because it doesn’t align with probability... the guy has missed most of the preseason and is still coming back from two moderate knee issues.

Opinion about opinion, not that outlandish a concept.

But what's it based on? It's still based on past performance but with a dash of rank speculation for good measure. It doesn't tell me anything. It's junk punditry. It passes its use by date immediately.

At least with the list at the end of the year it's based on shit we've all seen. This list is just Robbo's imagination.

I always enjoy how he (and senile Sheahan before him) do a list after the season then do another one a few months later before the next season.

The way I see it, the players have gone on a holiday and done a bit of training. Yet their ranks change? Please

Are you talking about Naughton, would not make my top 50 would take Rozee in front of Naughton even though
he is a tall. Whether it's Robo or Sheahan they always throw a few in to bother people's livestock. I would not
be surprised to see Naughton used down back this year as I have queries over our supply and method in ball
movement terms.

LOL at Tom Lynch being like 3 times higher then Ben Brown.

Ben Brown literally has better stats than this guy in every single stat.

Robbo is such an idiot for so many reasons, but this list continues to get worse year and year.

I couldn't look much further than the logic behind Nat Fyfe.

2019 Ranking: No. 2 Nat Fyfe

Win's 2019 Brownlow (2nd in career)

2020 Ranking: No. 3 Nat Fyfe

How do you slip after dominating and winning your 2nd Brownlow?

Same goes for Charlie Cameron.. A Career year and then slides by 20 odd picks.
I saw Tim Kelly dropped 8 spots too lol...didn't he come 3rd in the Brownlow or something!

The 2019 list is his post season list so has already accounted for how they performed in 2019. This list is his prediction for 2020.

So, in the case of Fyfe fir example, he rated him the No 2 player in the game (behind Martin) after last season which seems fair enough.

For 2020, he is predicting Bontempelli to take his game to a new level and be the No 1 player, pushing Fyfe down to 3.

Whilst I wouldn't make that call, seems reasonable enough.
