I

I agree with that, but its a pretty stressful time the shutdown will mean I will not make 1 cent for the next 8 - 12 weeks ZERO work
Taken 10 years to build a pretty good little business up and have no idea if it will be there at the end of this

And i agree health is the most important thing, but i have worked my arse off to get where i am
Not sure what to say Mowman.
So many hurting through this time. Depending what industry it seems like the bushfires and floods. Some companies way less impacted than others.
As an example, I'd hate to own a restaurant right now that's for sure. They need to work on controlled home delivery and quickly!

Mate - that's shit. Keep on the front foot, keep strong - talk to people. I went through something similar in the middle of last year and a mate reached telling me to reach out, talk and be strong.....I needed that and have told him since.

You have that work ethic - it will be ok, respect from me to you for what you have done and I have faith you will benefit from who you are

Can you please answer this It would be appreciated. Are we able to mow lawns. Surely we have no contact with anyone and our job is like someone just going outside with their dog or even doing their own lawn. Does that mean plumbers can’t work. The whole thing is confusing.
My understanding of it, as it sits now. It is a shut-down - where only essential services are allowed to open, for example; supermarkets, petrol stations and chemists. Lawn mowing, plumbing, brick laying are not essential services. So I believe we are not working from Tuesday. Yes and I agree it is very confusing. Hopefully, Andrews fills us in more tomorrow. Don't count on working after Tuesday.

It makes no sense at all. I understand if you can catch or spread the virus but people will still be allowed to mow there own lawns and go outside. Be interesting what they say tomorrow. Good luck. Might be my first ever dole cheque very soon.

I hear you Mowman. I'm in a similar predicament. Running your own show is fraught with issues that build your resilience and test resolve...but THIS is something that is completely outside the box. Most governments have offered some sort of a token financial package for those feeling the business stress of Corona. I'm sure Australia will do the same. It won't be much...but it'll help. Also, people will pull together. They are bloody well going to have to...if they want this Bullshit to end. It may not be the same again, but we'll pull through if we keep clear headed. Chin up, chest out, belly in...face the storm, keep your feet, and know that you're not alone.

I would think because its to hard to say this industry can work but this one cant , so it will be everyone but essential services

I sort of get that but you could claim mowing a lawn is essential for health and safety reasons. If you are like me you would have many older people you mow lawns for as well flats and units. If we were locked down for extended period surely the lawns would become dangerous for those people through fire hazards and just walking on them. If I don't do them they certainly cant.

Thanks Saints. No idea when we will see the team play again and we have to hang on to that performance as our most recent memory.

30 points up against a bottom 4 team on our home deck and we dish that sh.it up after half time.

Same old...same old. Seriously, why do we get our hopes up only to be continually let down ?

Because of #TogetherWeRise

Some trades will need to be available for emergencies.
Our pipes burst last weekend and we were without running water for 5 days until a plumber could get the work done.
I cant imagine that happening this weekend and not being able to get anyone out because having running water should absolutely be an essential service.

I was just asked for my opinion and only know as much as the next bloke, but if we are having a shut down i don't see many trades or other people working.

Easy.... just a game ....learn a hell of lot ...disappointing to lose when in control it happens .( All Clubs )

King got a taste, moving forward myself not looking in rear vision mirror.
Nah it's not one game. It's the last 9 season's.

Seriously when Ratts is publicly stating the culture of the club needs to change you know there's an issue.

I don't know how you could say the culture is any good. It's rank.

Did he do that in the press conference after the game? Haven't seen it yet
